Highly Recommended โ Safe, Bright, and Reliable SOS Signal!
Highly Recommended โ Safe, Bright, and Reliable SOS Signal! I purchased the Sirius Signal C-1003 SOS LED Distress Signal for my boat, and Iโm extremely impressed. The setup was super easy, and I love that itโs USCG-approved, so I know Iโm covered for safety requirements. The LED signal is incredibly bright and it stays on for hours without needing a replacement. Itโs reassuring to know the device floats and the SOS signal remains above water, just in case. The day flag and whistle are nice bonuses and make me feel prepared for any situation. The product shipped quickly, and the quality feels great right out of the box. If you want a worry-free, eco-friendly flare alternative, I definitely recommend this. I feel much more confident on the water with it onboard!

Good value!
Seems a great device. Tried it out at home and its very bright. (Hopefully I won't need it when on the water!) Thankfully regs have changed (in Tasmania, Australia) to allow an EVDS instead of flares - no more replacing them every 3 years. The Sirius unit was a good price and represents good value. (bit of no-brainer really to get one when your flares expire). Shipping/delivery was amazingly fast.

Electronic Marine Flare Review
This device solves the expensive dilemma of replacing flares every four years and struggling to find a place to legally dispose of the expired pyrotechnics. It lasts much longer than flares and cartridges and does not present a hazard to the user when employed. Safer, less expensive, long duration and easy to use in an emergency. A win all around.

Better than insurance
High visibility, a must for any boater who doesn't want to purchase the pyrotechnic flares every 3 years. This is better than insurance - hope you never use it , but if you do, it may save your life
