I ordered this hat for a Derby Day party. It was huge, and pink, and lovely, and it did not disappoint. I would definitely order it again. It was a showstopper and I got many compliments.

To be fair, I'm not a hat person. We are putting a High Tea event on at our local Grange and I was encouraged to get a Fascinator hat. Naturally I went to Amazon. The little ones I absolutely knew would look ridiculous on me. I'm not young, I have a narrow face and am short and thin. I purchased this cause the model's face shape is similar to mine and she looks fabulous. I got the hat today. It's very nice for the price but when I put it on, I laughed out loud. It is gigantic on my head and there is no way I can see to make it smaller. I look ridiculous. It is pretty and lacey and if you have a big head I think it would work well. I'll find someone to gift it to. I will be hatless for the event. :)

After reading reviews saying that the hat was “too big” I realized this would be the perfect hat to “go big or go home” with at the Kentucky Derby. I saw another review where someone got some accessories and made the hat even more over the top, and it inspired me to do the same. When the item arrives, do not fear…you can indeed put a blow dryer on a low setting and it will help take all the wrinkles away and help you style the hat. Some flowers, some craft glue, and Voila! I am happy with the style and the price was right
