Lovely shoes, now been wearing for nearly 2 mths and no signs of wear n tear (dd has v. Wide feet and shoes never last!) good strong quality. I bought 2 different sizes as dd is a 6.5 uk size. I returned the 6 as were too small (free and easy to return) and the size 7 fits well, she can slip her feet in easily without untying laces and plenty of room to grow... She loves the feel of them they caused no blisters at allUpdate - shoe has broken today - not. Impressed for the money I expected her to wear them longer then 2 and a half months!!!!Update - company was brilliant at sending replacement. However they only lasted 6 weeks and exactly same thing happened....updated pics of how they split exactly same way....Just looked at reviews on Amazon for kicker shoes and ALOT of reviews and pics on similar stories....ALOT of parents reported after 6 weeks they split exactly same way....really not happy my daughter has no schools shoes again.... Terrible quality to split so easily and for such a high price

Have brought these before but not from Amazon. The last pair lasted about a year. Had to buy another pair as the stitching came apart at the front of the shoe. On this pair the stitching does seem sturdier. Perfect school shoes for my daughter and we would always now buy kickers. Out of all the school shoes she has had these are the ones she prefers. She does do alot of walking as well. These were also cheaper on Amazon than in the shops

The shoes arrive looking great! Good strong, sturdy school shoes which, if you're lucky, will last a term or two. However, it's only a matter of time before they split - this time we can see daylight right through the shoe! You don't get much warning, there are no clues of loosening stitching, they just suddenly flap open. As these are often purchased for school this recurrent fault leaves us parents frantically trying to replace the shoes at short notice. Thankfully Amazon's customer service is excellent and they are usually very obliging in arranging a swift replacement, but it's still frustrating when it happens time and time again. This time we've had the current pair since March 2018, so 8-9 months of use during school time. For the cost I would expect these to last for at least a whole school year. Another replacement now required urgently! UPDATE: Thanks, Amazon, for a speedy live chat service to order another pair. Delivery due today.

INITIAL REVIEW (Jan 2016) but see edit below (March 2016): Really great shoes for school. My 12 year old daughter loved them (as most friends had them too) and they lasted over a year as her feet had plenty of space for growth. Initially I thought these were an expensive option, but actually they have provided very good value for money, worn every school day from early Sept 2014 to late Jan 2015. The body of the shoes still looks sound, but holes in the soles started to let in tiny pebbles and water as they have been so well worn. I have bought the same shoes again as we were so impressed by their durability. Comfortable, stylish and hard-wearing. Well done, Kickers!EDITED (March 2016): Now disappointed! Sadly, this time, the shoes have only lasted just over a month as the inside lining is not as strong as the previous pair. Maybe we're just unlucky to receive a faulty pair, but the inside stitching has unravelled and the heel lining has split. I am having difficulty finding a link to make a statutory rights return for faulty goods. Amazon, I'd be grateful for your assistance please.UPDATED (April 2016): Excellent customer service from Amazon using live chat. Sent free postage/packaging for faulty pair to be returned and raised new order for replacement pair. Wonderful service! Thank you! New pair seem okay so far and fit well.UPDATED (7th Oct 2016): Replacement shoes were faulty again after 5 months of use (not worn during summer holidays). Stitching deteriorated and the sole of one shoe has flapped open, right through to the inside. Disappointed again with longevity of shoe life, but excellent customer service received once again with a replacement pair posted immediately and the faulty pair to be returned within 30 days. Can't ask for better service than that! Well done once again, Amazon. Just a shame that the shoes don't last.

I bought these for my daughter to wear in the final year of school. They were a bit more expensive than I would normally pay, but as we have been advised she walk to and from school this year as much as possible due to covid, then I invested in some heavy duty shoes. After the initial "wearing in" phase of a couple of blisters, they are now very comfortable for my daughter. She walks three and a half miles each day in them. I would recommend.
