Highly recommended
Perfect book for bass learners but this book is without CD’s

Educational but beware this is classical notation
This is a good book for adult learners who want to understand a bit of sight reading along with correct technique and later on, tab. As a guitar teacher I find this book useful for teaching adults and mature bassists who would perhaps not be interested in graded exams. But would still like to follow a structured program for leaning. Hal Leonard delivers.

Hay que tener cuidado en pedir el libro correcto. Pens3 haber comprado la versión con sus audios pero no!

Methodical
Thorough and methodical, I'm about halfway through the first book and I'm reading actual music. This book is great.

Très bon bouquin, en anglais mais sans CD audio
C'est une très bonne méthode, en anglais. Le livre est de très bonne qualité, avec des spirales. Très appréciable. Comprend en fait le Book 1, 2 et 3 du même éditeur. Part de la base, niveau débutant, pour quelqu'un qui n'a jamais joué de la basse. Des explications progressive pour arriver à un niveau moyen je dirai. Attention donc par contre dans cette édition "Complète" il n'y a pas les CD fourni avec pour entendre les versions audio. Les CD sont probablement fournies quand on achète les books indépendamment. J'ai pu néanmoins trouver sur Youtube les versions. Donc bien être sur de ce que vous cherchez avant de faire l'achat.
