Slightly thinner, cheaper plastic than I expected, especially for the nearly $60 price and I wasn't expecting much. Also, as you can see in my video, It was shipped with the keys locked inside the glove box... Not the best idea. I imagine it was a mistake. I was fortunately able to flip the box upside down and use plyers to reach in-between the lid and the box. It actually was fairly easy, there was quite the gap already, about a third of an inch. Now based on looking at the design, this gap would not be showing if this box was installed on a boat. However, with light arm strength it wasn't that difficult to pry the lid about an inch from the box at the side even without the original gap showing, and I'm a small skinny guy. I imagine if someone really wanted they could easily just put their hands in that 1" gap and literally rip off a chunk of the thin plastic lid. I know it's not meant for high security. I myself don't really need it to be and it actually works well for what I need it for. But don't think this is stopping any bad guys while your boat is left unattended cause it's not. In the end I'd say not worth $60. $20-$30 I feel like would be a fair and honest price for this.

Install was fairly simple. Mounted under my seat.held the backside of the box in place, outlined with a marker, drilled a hole in all 4 corners. Metal blade and a saber saw. Did a couple trims to get it to fit. 4 screws and installed. About an hours time. Mostly getting it to fit. I don't do much metal work.

Overall product is good quality for the price. I wish there was a diagram for the cut out needed to install and it also doesn’t come with any screws. If it had the diagram and the screws needed to be mounted I would of gave it 5 stars
