These are perfect and a good size for adult hands!! I imagine these would be the size of current day batarangs if they were to exist. They are made of a type of foam rubber, and then painted silver. They will definitely fling out of your hands, going the distance based on the energy you put into your throw, and do minimal damage. Which is great to play around with. However, don't misinterpret that as meaning they will glide. It's foam rubber, so it's not a Frisbee. Parents should always keep a watchful eye on their children playing with them. These are perfect! My 5 year old loves Batman and his costume is Batman this year. These batarangs are a great size and perfect material. They are soft and bendable, but they look legit. He loves them!

Looks cool and built well, unfortunately it has a strong toxic smell that won't go away. Don't recommend for kids because of this.EDIT: If you leave these out in the sun, the smell of the polyurethane will be burned out and hopefully gone for good. ;) Really great for costumes or for Batman like mindsets who don't use guns in Nerf type wars.

I bought this for my five year old son because I couldn't find any in stores that were not made of hard plastic. These are soft enough that when he throws them and we accidentally get hit, they don't hurt. Awesome find and will be buying a second set.

These are foam covered in latex paint. They aren’t durable, but they look great out of the package for a costume prop and they don’t break things when your 5 year old flings them across the house, so there’s that!

These looked higher quality on the site and from description. When I received them they were fake, cheap plastic. Something you could get at the Dollar Store.

Didn't really notice they were made out of foam, but they're still very cool! Will work just fine for my cosplay!

I thought these were metal but they're not. I didn't read the details though. They're a good size. I used them as decoration and they looked really good.
