Does not come with the heavy black plastic cage.....Update 4/20/17
One star just to note that these do not come with the heavy black plastic cage that surrounds the filter & keeps it in it's upright shape.Not sure how it will work yet, I just installed them today.3/12/15 Had 'em for a month & no issues, they are holding up well.4/20/17 Without the black plastic cage, filter sagged & and are now disintegrating into small pieces. will get them from the mfg next time.

These filters do not wick the water up at all. I turn them over every time I walk by, but still very little humidity.I'm very disappointed.
