BLANCOMetallic Gray 440148 PRECIS SILGRANIT Super Single Undermount Kitchen Sink, 32" X 19"

I hate this sink. Out of the hundreds of decisions for the remodel, my husband and I both agree that this is the worst. Our countertop guy talked us into it. There are three major flaws. First is the design; it is flat on the bottom and does not drain to the center so food is always stuck on the corners and sides and must be manually pushed to the drain wasting water. Second; the surface is not smooth and is more pebbly and speckled gray and white reminding one of a garage sink. Third, it chips and then stains collect in the chips. We have been using it for 5 months now and we have 3 chips - granted we have lots of family and cook a lot so it does see a lot of use. Third, it stains very easily and must be scrubbed with bar keepers friend to keep it clean - almost daily. I think this is partly because it won’t drain right. Sometimes I even have to use a paste of vinegar and baking soda to get the tomato stains to come out. There is only one thing I like about it which is the fact that is has a zero reveal against the granite countertop. But this feature is greatly outweighed by the negatives.

I rarely take the time to write reviews even though I order from Amazon all the time. I have to write about this sink because it is absolutely fantastic. First it has a very elegant look and fits very well in my modern, newly redesigned kitchen. Second, it is a huge sink where I can easily fit large pots and dishes that I was not able to fit in my previous silly two-bowls sink. Third but not last, it is very easy to clean. I am not sure about the reviews that I read here about the sink absorbing food stains and being difficult to clean. I sealed this sink with a solution for granite (also from Amazon) and basically nothing sticks on it, it is almost self-cleaning and self-drying. I paired it with a very nice kitchen faucet (also from Amazon). Everyone who comes to our house loves the look. Thank you Amazon!

EDIT: We sold the house the initial sink was in and it still looked brand new 4.5 years later. We just moved into a new build and within one week of moving in, replaced the builders grade sink with another white Blanco sink. I’ll never have anything else. They really are THAT good.I have been using this sink since March 2017 and specifically waited all this time to write my review in order to accurately comment on how it holds up. I cannot speak highly enough of this sink and am so glad I decided to go with the white color despite reviews stating that it stains easily. I've honestly found the upkeep to be rather simple and haven't noticed that mine retains any stains whatsoever. I will say, however, that I am very diligent about keeping the sink clean and ensure that any food or items that could possibly leave a stain be cleaned up quickly. I'm not one to leave any dishes in my sink overnight and I wash out all dishes before sitting them in the sink. If any food gets into the sink that may stain (i.e.: red sauce, certain fruits, etc.), I make sure to wash it away with water before walking away. It takes 2 seconds to do this and is crucial, in my opinion, to avoiding stains. I make my baby's food and had steamed and pureed some blueberries the other day. I thought I had washed out the sink pretty well, but noticed later that evening there was a small spot that I missed. I thought for sure that it would stain, but it didn't. When I washed it out, there was a small stain that came right up with some sink cleaner and a brush (Don't use bleach!!). I do a good scrub from time to time and I can honestly say it looks as good as the day it was installed. The surface is not smooth and glossy like other sinks, which was what initially attracted me to this sink the most. It is matte and textured, which you would think would show more wear and tear, but I've found it to be the exact opposite. When remodeling our kitchen, we swapped out our glossy white sink for this one. The glossy sink showed 10x the stains and was VERY easily scuffed by pots and pans, which is something I've never noticed with this sink. Like I said, I can't say enough about how much I love this sink and am still happy with my purchase almost 1.5 years later. Definitely worth the money. If you're contemplating this sink, go for it. With simple upkeep, you wont be disappointed at all.

I can't even begin to describe the ordeal that has been trying to get this sink. The issues have been with both the sink manufacturer (Blanco) and Amazon.I ordered the first sink from our kitchen designer. It came directly from the manufacturer and arrived cracked.I ordered a second one, again from our kitchen designer. The second one came cracked.At this point we are desperate to get into our new build, but can't pass an inspection without a sink and have been literally homeless until we do so -- so we ordered one on Amazon hoping it would come sooner than through the manufacturer.Sink number 3 was the completely wrong size, despite ordering the correct one.Ordered sink number 4. I just opened the box and it is a BLACK sink, DOUBLE SIDED, OVERMOUNT. I ordered WHITE, SINGLE, UNDERMOUNT. And my order invoice proves just that.I am beyond livid. I just want a sink so that I can move into my house. I never thought that a SINK would have held up the construction of my house by one month.

We bought this for a recent kitchen redo. It is lovely: large and roomy. Rather than buy a drain for it we had a disposer attached. Blanco offers a stainless steel sink grid that I highly recommend. The color is mostly white but has slight grey pin points if you look closely. It looks white from a few feet away but it’s not “white” like a standard porcelain sink. It has a matte finish, not shiny at all. When shopping for sinks I asked for an “indestructible” sink. I’ve found stainless and porcelain sinks to have their drawbacks. Sadly this sink has small, dark smudges and smears from day one that I cannot remove. I’ve used cleaner, vinegar, and bleach though the latter two must be used with care so as to not affect the finish. The spots remain. Otherwise I would give it 5 Stars. I was also surprised to read, after purchase, that it is recommended you dry the sink with a cloth towel after each use. Now really, who does that?

Really happy with this sink! It’s exactly what I wanted. Bonus is that it came so much quicker than originally expected. Doesn’t come with plug though so you do need to get that separate but that’s not a big deal.

I love it!...not installed yet, but is very nice, solid, study and very elegant...looking forward to putting it in to my new kitchen!!

Excellent sink, but as anything white needs to be cleaned all the time, which is not so easy.
