Don’t mess with the cheap belts.
Tried the cheap belt first and with in 5 uses it was shredded. Not wore out but torn up. The cheap belts are 5/8” x 1/2” ish, these are 5/8” x 3/8” ish. That difference causes the cheap belt to rub in places it shouldn’t and then it’s coming apart. Also take the mower deck off. It’s easier to take the deck off then to put the belt on with it in place. Can be done but sucks. Put the mower up in the air so you can crawl under it, use your imagination and block the tires. When you are under it you will see the pulley that is tightening the upper drive belt, push the angle, that it is attached to, up so that it catches on the angle above it. Now you can take the upper belt off with ease. Put on new blades while you have the deck off. Correct, it’s easier and the nuts are regular hand threads. Have fun.

Too long
As indicated, it ended up being longer than the stretched belt I have on my cub cadet XLT 1040. The problem is not the vendors fault, but rather the manufacture that builds in a tolerance for a wide range of model numbers, and as a result, you end up with something that you have to try and work with. In short the quality of the belt is good, but I have to find a belt that’s 90 inches or shorter as 90.5 is going to be longer than the stretched belt and continue to fall off and not work. The vendor did however refund my money. Thank you.

Believe me. Sometimes oem makes a huge difference!
I had originally bought a substitutes belt that was half the price. I mean a belts a belt right?Wrong! With my 2013 Cub Cadet ltx-1040 the replacement belt would continue to stick or grab the pulleys causing the mower NOT to stop! You had to kill the engine or it would just keep going until it hit something. Sometimes if you let off the pedal quick it would release but during normal use quite often it would not stop. I of course thought I got something in wrong during installation and then dug in to the braking system etc… until, eventually I read another review with the same problem. What an enormous waste of time troubleshooting! The substitute was slightly wider I think but mostly I guess the problem was do to a difference in materials. The bad belt is out of the return period so I’m stuck with it. This is one of those cases where your better off buying oem or a substitute that is a true copy.

Works as expected
Worked as expected. delivered on time. Seems to be good quality. Only been on my mower 3-4 weeks, so no long term life expectancy available. One recommendation, before you completely remove old lower drive belt, tie a long string or piece of wire to front end of old belt, so that when you pull old belt out from the rear, you'll have the string/wire there such that you can re-attach string to new belt and pull it back through same path under frame. The lower drive belt passes trough the frame at mid point of mower, and would be very difficult feeding belt through without having the string attached to it. And in that boxed in area where the belt passes through, there are a couple of alignment pins the belt passes through as well. That's why I recommend attaching string or wire. Make sure your string / wire is plenty long enough so as to not come all the way out with the old belt. At least this is how my Wardman mower 2003 is set up. Hope this helps.

Belt size too long?
The belt appears to be a tad longer than the original belt it replaced, causing it to occasionally come off when engaging/disengaging the mower deck.

OEM Belts fit perfectly
This was a good deal for an OEM belt. It fit perfectly. My lawn tractor uses this lower belt along with a smaller upper belt for the automatic drive system. It's like a new drive system now but I should have ordered both, but didn't. So I will be ordering the other belt as I found out both should be replaced at the same time for best performance and longevity. I highly recommend staying OEM and buying these belts from this seller who is selling them at a good price.

Worked well, as Described!
The belt was described correctly, Transmission Drive belt for Craftsman Lt 2000 Lawn Tractor.A little tricky to install, but I’m back mowing again! I also ordered the spring Pn 753-08301, which had broke and caused the old belt to burn out/slip.

This is the Engine drive belt
I intended to order the drive belt for the mower deck but ordered this engine drive belt by MY mistake. I’m keeping it for later and ordered the correct belt. Got it put on today. Works great.
