Very easy set up and works well. Transmits wind speed and direction, outside temperature and humidity, rain gauge and forecast, and barometric pressure and trending. No wires or cables to be bothered with. Hard to find item. Very pleased.

I give three stars for okay, since it is just "okay" , not exceptional. This was a replacement sensor array for my dependable WS2080 unit that was suffering from Tropical humidity corroded connections because of factory supplied telephone jacks which are a outdoor problem in Florida environment. The new array was better designed I thought with integrated and protected connections.It was soon evident that something else was wrong. The stated wireless of 300' line of sight and more typical 100' was a fib. After many tests of batteries and site locations, if became evident that the real working distance was more like 20'. No other structure or power device was changed from the previous unit and the new array simply would not transmit as effectively. I surmise that the internal antennae is poorly designed or defective. But since I read about RF transmission problems to the console from others, I believe its a factory design defect.I added a round pattern or chicken wire to the top of the rain cup to prevent frequent leaf drops from clogging the aperture.In summary, you get what you pay for and it was a good value for the money if you can live with the external sensor close to your indoor console. I might add that the supplied easyweather software is only marginally useful but I delight is using the third party 'weather display' software because it has a configuration menu for WS2080 systems and works great.

Product as advertised, shipped quickly, S&H is kind of steep. I purchased this as a replacement sensor set for my several year old station. The original sensors quit transmitting a couple of months ago after a Colorado blizzard. I eagerly mounted the replacement sensors on the outside post when they arrived. They worked great for about a week. We had another heavy storm come through and the replacement sensors quit transmitting early in the event. Testing afterwards showed the transmitter had failed on this set as well. I returned them to Ambient Weather asking for an exchange. They refunded my card instead, which is fine but here we go on the S&H again. I'm considering a different station, hoping for better reliability.

It's cheaply made. Thing can't even last a year without something going wrong, always a senor issue or something. And the base station is like something from 1995, old school, no technology driven device. If you want it online like weather underground you have to buy a separate device like Meteobridge, ($200) and complicated as hell to setup to weather underground. Just flat out old school obsolete technology folks. Buy a station that has a Wifi built into the base station and has a color screen that lights up that matches the 21st century! I did. This product and company needs to go away soon.

Purchased this to replace all my outdoor sensors that began to fail slowly at about 2 yrs old. First the outside temp & humidity stopped then the wind meter & rain gauge failed. Only took a few minutes to swap out the dead meters. Pricey since I paid $70 for both inside & outside hardware but now it works again.......hopefully longer than 2 years.

This was a replacement works great... the first one got taken away in a 40 MPH wind so make sure you secure it well.

Works ok and the price is cheap but all their products seem to only last about 2 years which is out of warranty. Its like there is a failure timer built in. Never seen electronic equipment fail so regularly. Because of the computer logging software I would lose my history data if I switched to a competing brand.

Replacement for one I broke. Works as it should.
