Very bright, but one had failed after 6 months.
They are extremely bright and exactly what I hoped for, much more light for reversing. Sadly 6 months on and one has failed, so I can't give it the 5 stars the performance is worth when it has only lasted for such a short time.

Drains battery? Update: JK, they're great! Replaced old battery.
Two other reviews here mention this. I tried to install two bulbs last night in my 2011 Honda CR-Z. My car's 12v battery was dead within five minutes of plugging the first one in and testing it. What could be going on here? With the car off, I left the shifter in R and turned the key to Run. The first bulb flashed quickly and then went dark and wouldn't light again. Tried with both sockets and both bulbs, then the battery died for good, which has never happened before. I had to put it on the charger to start the car again. Will try again tonight with a fully charged battery.UPDATE MAY 2019: "Tonight" of course, became "in a few months". Disregard my prior review. As feared, I jumped to conclusions. My tiny 12v battery was dead at 8 years of age. I didn't realize it was the original battery! After a few days of jumping the poor thing everywhere I went, I got a brand new battery and everything has worked perfectly for a few months now. Reverse bulbs fit fine and are pretty bright. Excellent value for the price.Few people have my exact car, but for just that reason I'll offer that rarely-found installation advice to anyone who does: Don't be afraid to yank those light housings straight out! They're stuck in there pretty firmly with plastic clips. After you undo the two screws under the panel by the lift gate, just get a decent grip from both sides and pull straight back until they surrender. First try took me 5-10 minutes because I didn't want to break something. Second time took about 60 seconds each since I now know they're just playing hard to get. A plastic panel removal tool or spatula helps to get the pointy end away from the body panels.Update October 2023: Still work, still bright, still cheap!

Nice, bright replacement for standard incandescents
Great replacement of the standard incandescent reverse bulbs on my car. The light is cool white and very bright - brighter than the stock bulb. No problem fitting into my car's reverse light bulb socket nor any problems fitting into the reflector/lens unit. It looks amazing!
