Awesome scan tool, works in just about everything. Can pull codes, watch live data, actuate components, just about everything you need to do, this will do it.

Works well and does everything I need it to and more. Retty simple interface, and fairly fast. Wifi card must be prtty good since I did have connection fairly far away from my router. Really only need to update it once for my vehicles since I dont work on different types everyday. But will push another before free updates expire. Dont see myself buying a new car in the near future. Can't say enough good things about support, they actually reached out to me to check on the product and even offered out a free borescope camera, sent to me, free of charge. To my supposed it came abd quick and works great with the tablet. I can even use it for other stuff outside automotive. Works perfectly for my every day job when needed to look inside of walls and stuff to run electrical wires. Pretty surprised by Autel and haven't had any other company make such an offer.

The MX808S is the OBDII scanner to use. Really enjoy the easy interface/screen. All the automobilies are listed and will remember the ones you use the most on the first screen. It comes with one year free updates and option to subscript for once your year is over (great option to have). Comes with all the cables and will connect to your WiFi for updates. Plus when you need to research for a an error code or search the web for assistance to troubleshoot problems. Runs on Android IOS. Great case to keep the unit safe and all the cables in one area. The additional power USB cable is included. You will not go wrong with this unit. Fix the Range Rover 2006, and Toyota 2004. Was able to release the parking brake on VW 2024 to replace the rear pads. All diag service units are included. Plus the support team is great and do reply back to the emails.

This scanner is full of capabilities. It’s made for the professional, but I just retired and like the ability to do advanced repairs at home and this scanner is perfect for that.If you are the average Joe wrenching on your stuff, this may be more than you need or can use, but if you have a background or training in modern vehicle systems and want a scanner like you use at work for home, this may be what you are looking for. PLUS, it’s waay less expensive than Snap On.

I have only had this for a couple of months now, but I have scanned and diagnosed 8 vehicles so far, and here is what I can tell you. It performs very well when reading Vin and viewing live data. Vin read and decode only takes about 30 se ones on most vehicles. It can vary between different makes, but thats not the tools fault. I see the same on other scan tools. Graphing allows you to merge 4 data pids at a time and you can change vertical and horizontal ranges, for example voltage range and time base. Covers more makes than I'll ever use, some I've never even heard of. Screen is easy to read and probably the perfect size for most, handy sturdy kick stand swings out from the back. I opted to get The MX808S (Without BT) because the price was cheaper and the dongle always seems to get left in the customers car with Bluetooth.I did have a problem saving scan reports and then trying to send them. Not expecting a quick response by email, as it was past hours to call them, they surprised me with a response an hour later. I didn't have time to try what they suggested that evening, but the next day in one more email the problem was resolved. Now instead of printing the reports I can save and send by email or text message. So happy that is taken care of!!So far there is many cons I can think of. It seems like the touch screen isn't very sensitive, I have to tap things a little firmer. I still have the film protector over the screen and its been freaking cold outside where I've used it, so that could be the reason. Can't verify the device on Google play so no installing apps from them. No sound just picture/video.So far I am happy with it, and it seems to be just what I expected.

After dealing with troubleshooting an issue, I decided I wanted a better scanner tool. So I did some research and narrowed it down, ending with the Autel MX808S. It looks and feels durable, not like some cheap toy. Out of the box I was up and running, took a few minutes to update some of the software via wifi. After connecting it with a vehicle, I was very pleased with the readability and ease of use. It comes with all the system scans and testing features I was looking for. I would highly recommend this scanner tool for anyone who will be looking at a lot of live data, run diagnostic tests, and wants to be able to read all of there vehicles systems for issues.
