This review is for the VWINDESK VJ205 desk frame and the VWINDESK Solid Bamboo 80" table top, which is sold separately. ---------- Desk Frame [ ASIN B08CN7D36V ] : It's solid; I don't feel any swaying at all, even when I have it at standing height. The only time I can get it to sway is when I deliberately push hard enough to do so. But when typing and using it like a desk, it's completely stationary. The load capacity is listed at 320 lbs. The 80" table top weighs ~50lbs. My LG 43" 43UN700-B weighs ~40lbs. My 2 LG 32UN880-B weigh ~23lbs each. My total load is about 136lbs and probably a little bit more with computers and power adapters, which are hanging off the cable management trays [ ASIN B09Z3TW8LT ] clipped to the desk. Let's say 140lbs altogether. The lowest height is 23.6 and the maximum height is 49.3". I have my sitting position at 28" and my standing position at 38.5". This is perfect for me at 5'10" tall. ---------- Table Top [ ASIN B08BYKT12Q ] : It's fabulous. It's strong, smooth, cleans well with just water, and has a color similar to birch or light oak. The warm light shining on it from the desktop gives it a golden hue. It's very beautiful. It measures almost 80"x30"x1". It fits my small studio apartment (~350sqft) perfectly. Since my place isn't large, the desk serves as my dining area and my work area. The table top is big enough to keep my 3 laptops (1 PC for work, 2 Macs for personal) on top of it along with my 3 monitors, keyboard, and large mousepad. But I bought the IKEA DAJLIEN Bench, which is also made from bamboo, to hold my 2019 16" Intel Macbook Pro and my 2020 13" M1 Macbook Air and this allows most of the desk to hold other things like my dining tray or books. ---------- Overall : I've had this desk frame and top for ~1 month now and I'm extremely pleased with the setup. Since both products are by VWINDESK, the table top came with pre-drilled holes. Both the frame and table top were packaged well with lots of foam padding. The directions were exceptionally clear, which is odd for many products coming from China, and it came with all tools needed for assembly. I had this desk bookmarked for a very long time and I'm glad I bought it. I had a feeling that the triangular supports would make this desk very stable and I was right; great functional design choice!!! I plan on buying another one for a family member. Before you spend over $1K on another desk, which probably uses the same electronics, give this one a try. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

So many standing desks to choose from. Very hard to choose just one brand, but based mostly on user reviews I went with this VWINDESK VJ205. No regrets at all. Very nice quality desk. The mechanics work perfectly and everything went together well. I also purchased their 80" x 30" bamboo desktop and it fit perfectly with the predrilled holes matching up perfectly with the frame. I'm 5'-8" and at a standing height comfortable for me (almost 40"h), the desk is very stable. Of course you can make it move, but if you're just standing and typing there's no movement at all. This is my first standing desk so I cannot compare the speed or noise level, but I'm very happy with both. Very smooth operation when raising/lowering and very quiet to me. I've included a few pictures, but please excuse the mess. I'm still configuring my setup. I've already installed some aftermarket drawers and some cable trays underneath. I do have much of the cabling hidden, but what you're seeing is for my guitar processor. Those will be hidden eventually. I feel for the price, I got a very well-made desk top and frame! I was searching for a new standing desk the didn't wobble or shake while you slightly lean on it while standing or even from typing sometimes. I began looking at a 4 leg unit that had 4 motors but it was priced well over $800 just for the legs. Then I found the VWINDESK VJ205. It uses a fairly typical dual motor adjustable width system that is fairly common BUT it adds to that a well designed and solid 45 degree angle braces that stiffen the two posts dramatically. This added stiffness and strength not only reduces wobble but also allows the use of casters under the unit if you need to roll it around etc. I need to add that the build quality was excellent, the legs and motor units were massive. All the parts like the cap screws were very high quality and they even included a spare parts bag. The instructions were easy to follow and I still can't believe how well it is made for $360. Purchasing a separate top allowed me to fit it perfectly into my current room. If you are looking for a solid no wobble unit with great build quality and a good value, I highly recommend the VWINDESK VJ205!

The value of the system itself deserves 5 stars. It is very well made with high quality motors and its design is very good especially the use of the diagonal leg supports which make the desk unusually sturdy. This system is the best for building a large sit-stand desk because of the sturdy design and the quality motors. I built a desk which is 2.18 meters (86") wide. The reason I removed one star is the instruction and the recommended way of building the desk. Since the legs are very heavy, probably heaviest among all sit-stand desks on the market, the recommended way of assembling it upside down and turning it over after attaching the legs to a desktop board can damage the desk. Each leg is attached to the desktop by only 3 nails. If you cannot turn it over completely synchronizing the movement of the both legs, the connections by nails are very likely to be damaged. I built it with the legs standing upright, not following the instruction, although it required extra effort. it should be the recommended way of building it especially when making a desk with a long desktop like mine.

I wanted a powerful unit to raise my massive Butcherblock desk with 3 monitors and a large custom desktop pc. As you can see, this thing handles it with ease! Many of the other reviews stated it was “IKEA level of assembly”, that’s a joke 🥱. It took about 20 minutes with an impact drill and was extremely simple, with one annnoying assembly related caveat. They used different sized bit sizes, pretty small but found it annoying during assembly. The motors are quiet and the steel is HEAVY! This thing is definitely designed to be used with a work bench, conference room table, or absolute mad-man style gaming setup like me. NOTE: the castor thread sizes in the comments said it was 1/4”, that size did not work for me 🫠. I bought 1/2” castors and they also did not work, 3/8" casters didn't work as well. I've come to realize you need to go by the "M8" moniker, the diameter is an odd .315", not 1/4" or 3/8". Overall, I highly recommend if you need an extremely powerful standing desk.

This desk frame is incredibly robust and stable. I currently own around five of them, and after trying several other high-end models, I still believe this one is superior. It's built to last, and the one I've had for four years is still working perfectly, even with four 32-inch monitors on it, no issues at all!

I wasn't sure what to expect from a brand I hadn't heard of when building my own adjustable height desk. But this desk has been one of the best pleasant surprises from Amazon that I've ever bought. I paired these legs with the VWINDESK Natural Bamboo 80inch Desk Table Top and the VWINDESK 55 Inch Bamboo Tabletop Shelf Stand Organizer. While I did get an incorrect part on the Tabletop Shelf Stand Organizer, the 80" tabletop and these legs have been great. The assembly was surprisingly easy (I did it all alone, even with the massive 80" desktop), and the raise/lower function is smooth, fast, and--so far--sturdy. The components feel like good quality and it looks just as good as the $1500 stationary standing desk that it's next to. If I had it to do over again, I would have never bought my other desk and just gotten a second, smaller version of this one. Amazing value and I will be coming back for my next home office investment!

When I was looking for a frame my main concern was the size of desk I wanted to build (30" x 96"). I made the desk top using four 2x8x8 planks, the desk top alone is close to 100lbs. I am glad to report that this frame is super sturdy and lifts then entire thing (PC's and monitors included) without issues. I don't have much to compare to for the noise but in my opinion it is perfectly reasonable, not loud at all, I have no problem raising or lowering the desk while in meetings with my mic un-muted, no co-worker have noticed the sound. I have been using this frame for a few weeks now and absolutely love it, being able to set a maximum minimum height is a great feature to make sure you don't collide with anything under the desk, especially considering how low this desk can go if desired. Installation was straight forward, I followed the each step from the instruction manual and did not have any issues or confusion. I may add some casters at some point to make it easier to move and gain access to the back of it for cable management. They offer a 5 year warranty which helps give peace of mind. I would definitely recommend this frame to anyone looking to build a sturdy or oversized desk.

This was a great modification to my desk. Originally my desk was an inch too short for my chair and I had a desktop sit-stand. Now I added this by detaching the top and it has made working from home much more enjoyable. With the push of a button, the quiet motors effortlessly lift the heavy solid wood top and all my peripherals. I have multiple heights depending on whether I am standing or using a walking treadmill. I strongly recommend this to anyone who has a desk they love but wants to make it a sit-stand. It was straightforward to assemble and attach to my current desk frame. I appreciate how sturdy it is with the triangle supports. They do take up a bit more room but there is no wobble or worry about the desktop not being steady.

Easy to assemble. Very sturdy, pretty much no wobble even at max height. Strong and fast motor. Im using it with a 55 inches monitor + 32 display on top + playstation and other useless things mounted under desk. Setup on the heavy side id say. I am extremely happy with my purchase.
