Springfield Armory XDE CO2 Blowback BB Pistol (XDE) (XDE)

This is a first for me. Amazon refers the defective item to the manufacturer. They do not have a return policy other than referring to the manufacturer. I have updated this review because PYRAMYD AIR sells a replacement magazine at a very reasonable price. I have to take responsibility for the broken part because of my inexperience with these air guns. PYRAMYD AIR sent the replacement part very quickly and the performance of the pistol is stellar with it. Bottom line is this: DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN the C02 cartridge. Over tightening will break the magazine. The Springfield Armory XDE is a terrific replica!!

These is very well made. Solid construction, shoots well. Nice feel to it. Polymer and metal parts. Great little shooter and fairly accurate.

I love this gun, I use it 3-4 times a week. It's really fun and very realistic. The weight and handling resembles a real gun. Absolutely not like the other plastic lightweight bb guns. This is great for people who want bb guns that are closest to looking like a real gun without the danger. Can definitely be used for self defense because it will fool someone for a real gun and will sound like one after just changing the CO2 capsule. But I have bought 5 of these by now because they all break for the same issue. Something with the hammer not going back down or up after pressing the trigger, effectively disabling the gun permanently. Would still recommend if your willing to put up with the issues after a while.

Bought for training. Took to range a few days after it arrived. Would not seat a BB, trigger will not pull when mag is insertedI have another one like this but a 1911 that has always preformed amazingly for me.Check the fine print: Item is non returnable. This is a really fun gun, but it takes a few co2 cartridges to break in the magazine, or you could break it by forcing the trigger, especially on the first bb out of the magazine. Real accurate and powerful, but the magazine is fussy. First , although you can fit twenty BBs in the mag, it puts too much spring pressure on the first bb and when the trigger is pulled the metal tube that pushes the bb into the chamber catches on the cast part of the magazine. Instead, load fifteen BBs, and silicone spray the mag. Then, be gentle. Let up on the trigger, try again. When the spring starts to relax, after a few shooting sessions, you can start loading more BBs with no more feeding problems. I get about 50 strong shots out of a mag, and ten weak shots that are still accurate. Be gentle but firm with cartridge piercing mechanism. Only use enough twist to pierce and then seal the connection. Just stop when the hiss stops. Use the short key provided to seat the cartridge for less leverage and torque. And check out You tube for easy slide removal, lube points, and to see how things move when you pull the trigger. Best price is usually on Amazon. If you have another air gun that uses this type of magazine, and you didn’t like that one, you won’t like this one. But this one has really nice trigger feel in single action! Great bang for the buck. Get a compact laser for real fun!

I have an Umarex 9XP and I absolutely love it but, wow this Springfield absolutely blew me away, the quality of it is amazing and there's no Rattle or clink to it at all it is a very heavy and durable, as long as you get some oil with it and make sure you keep it lubricated this is seriously a great CO2 replica and it's very accurate! I'm an Enthusiast and I have been absolutely beside myself since I opened it up!

Product broke under 3 weeks of having it works good but Hammer broke
