Love the Flexible trays
I was going to purchase the Mumi & Bubi brand of these trays until I found these flexible ones. I am so happy I went with the flexible. These trays hold a large amount of food in one freezing session. I used 2 pears, 2 apples, 1lb of carrots, and 1/2lb of green beans for my first try and everything fit and froze perfectly. I had to run some water on the back side and then each cube slid out easily just by pressing on one end. I am so happy with this purchase and thankful to have making food even easier.I can see these being used for other purposes in the future once we're out of baby food.

Beware. Run under hot water before removing cubes.
Edit: Revising from 1 star to 4 stars. One tray shattered on first use trying to remove a cube. I was upset with the product and planned to replace it. Though, I decided to use it again, and that's why I'm revising my review. On next use, after I removed the tray from the freezer, I flipped it over and ran it under hot water. It was easy to open and get the cubes out. When used this way, it is actually a good product. Minus one star since if you apply any pressure immediately after removing it from the freezer, it may shatter on you. Also puchased BabyBliss Eco Friendly Silicone Baby Food Freezer Storage Tray | 9 Large Cups (2.5 Oz) | Clip-On Silicone Lid | Toxin and BPA Free & FDA Approved | Oven and Dishwasher Safe , which worked wonderfully without having to do any hot-water tricks.

Great for freezing puréed food!
I bought these for making my own baby food from scratch. These are perfect portions with each compartment holding an ounce of food or liquid. I love how it has a cover and you don't have to worry about anything coming into contact with what you're freezing while it's in the freezer. The only down side to the lid design is the longer freezing time and you can't really stack them without it. I'd make ice cubes in these and it would be over two to three hours and it still wouldn't be set. The design makes it impossible to stack without the lids unless you'd want the bottoms touching and setting in with whatever you're freezing. The cubes are not difficult to pry from the compartments either unlike what some reviewers have mentioned. I find them easier than your conventional ice cube tray. You can either just lightly bend it like you would a regular ice tray or run the bottoms through water and the molds "push" right out with little effort - just press down on one end and it "pops" out. So for things like babyfood and liquids like breast milk - as long as you don't need them right away - I'd still recommend these.

Good potion size
Love portion size, can't find 1 oz portions easily! Difficult to get cubes out of try so best solution is to run entire tray under cool water and then pop all out at once into freezer bag. Not a great product if you want to leave cubes in tray with lid and pop out one by one, however now that I have them in my bag it seems super handy to just grab one or two flavors in 1oz portions and go without popping them out first... I guess it's what you are looking for that counts. Tray is rigid with no give, they do not twist like ice cube trays and it is not recommended to do so by manufacturer. I also found it a little difficult to cramp the food into the thin slot but if you want 1 oz portions I am not sure that there really is a better design out there.

IT CRACKED ON THE FIRST USE
I had bought these, or something similar to these with my first kid and they were GREAT! I still have them 5 years ago and wanted to get some new ones to replace these. I kept the old ones till these arrived. I followed the care instructions and when I filled the tray with food and froze it everything was fine. I went to take the frozen food out of the tray and with the old ones you twist it a bit like an ice tray to loosen the frozen food. I barely took the lid off and the whole thing cracked in half! It was so brittle after being in the freezer for the first time. Not happy with it at all. I am still using the older ones I have and they are still great! No issues at all!

Pretty Nifty Container
I just pureed my first round of baby food a few days ago and froze it in this one of these. I mixed avocado and breast milk. Once the puree was frozen solid, I tried to remove the food to store in a freezer bag. The food wouldn't come out on its own with me pushing down on it, so I put the bottom in warm water for a few seconds and that loosened them up immediately-they came out no problem. I'm glad I ordered these and look forward to using them more in the future.

Ok but broke.
Update: Great customer service. Contacted the seller about broken item. Received a response within 6 hrs. Was offered a replacement or refund. I requested a replacement. I will give it another try.Update: Worked well for a while. Perfect portion sizes. It snapped in half yesterday. I was careful not to bend it. Just happened to apply slight pressure and Crack right down the middle. Now I'm looking for something more sturdy.

I had super high hopes for this because of the high capacity ...
I had super high hopes for this because of the high capacity of food storage and the reviews, but I have had these trays for about two weeks and both cracked! I had a very difficult time getting the cubes out, especially ones that have been sitting in there for a while. I tried warm water but that would melt all of the other food around the one I was trying to get out. The concept is great, but did not work out for me. I'm going to replace these with silicone trays.
