I really like these devices and the company has a wide selection of sizes and what is not to like as prices are good as well as shipping. However, In this case, they were out of the 6x16 and had fewer of the 6x30 size that I needed really need. I look at it as sometimes you are just out of stock of popular sizes and otherwise Love this company and their produce.

The bolts themselves seem perfectly fine, but the box itself was cracked and busted on the bottom. Additionally, all of the dividers on the inside of the box had come loose, so all the bolts were jumbled up. It took about an hour to sort so not terrible, but it still was not ideal.

The bolt and barrel nut are good quality. Still, here's what I wish I knew before I bought them:The EFFECTIVE BINDING DEPTH between the insides of the end caps is not the length of the bolt but is about 6mm-12mm larger (after four full nut turns which I believe is adequate to hold my table's legs to its frame). That is likely valid for the longer length bolts, too.The DEPTH BETWEEN THE BARREL AND ITS END CAP which holds the wood is only 2mm. Therefore, drilling to accommodate the barrel requires careful measuring for depth and diameter.At the time that I purchased these, they were less expensive than carriage bolts, washers+nuts.For my next project--yea, I survived this one, so far, anyway--I may consider buying this product to install the bolt from the outside but instead of using the provided barrel nut, tighten down a washer+nut, a flange nut or a wingnut.

These served my purpose well. Satisfied with the quality.

Bought these for attaching handles on knives. About half of them work great the other half is slightly too large. I expected that but wanted to see the various sizes.Quality seems very nice, they are smooth, go together without any friction and are nice and heavy. (Yes they are metal, but they seem heavier than they should be)

Cheaper and better then stock parts. Works holding things better then stock part way!
