Just Great for HTC One
I ordered this adapter to watch movies off of my HTC One. The adapter I hacve ordered from another company had a major flaw, it did not charge a phone when connected to the power. This one, on the other hand, displays HDMI signal AND power your phone, so you can start watching regardless of how much juice you have left in the battery. The downside of this adapter is that it will not function unless a power source is connected to it. That doesn't bother me much. If I have an outlet to power TV, I'll find one for a phone.

Great HDMI Adaptor for HTC Smartphones
This HDMI adaptor works great using Sprints new HTC EVO 4G LTE Smartphone.I was amazed at the picture quality for both still pictures and video recordings.Yes, even Netflix streams perfectly to my HD TV thru this adaptor. With the EVO 4G LTE phone, the screen remains ON so you have control over the videos and panning throughyour pictures (I read other HDMI adaptor reviews that say they blank out the phone screen, not sure ifthat's an adaptor or a phones issue). There is a minor con though..., and that's just the short miniUSB cable length that connects to your phone. If is was about 18"~24" long you wouldn't have the adaptor hanging directly of the phone (along with the HDMI cable).I've since purchased a min-USB extension cable and the minor issue is resolved.Note: This device works best on TVs, or Monitors, that support 720p which is what this device outputs. On my 55" 1080I(not P) monitor, the still pictures were still sharp and clear but streaming movieswere not as sharp and in low light scenes I could see color gradient squares.Using my 28' Toshiba 720p TV, the movie picture quality was great and almost appears to be 1080P.Also...use a good HDMI cable...Overall, I'm very pleased with the device and would recommend it..., especially if you are on atight budget and can't afford the $90.00 price tag I've seen for a wireless device.

Works!
This worked great with my HTC One S. As expected, it does require you to attach the power cord in order to work. That's not a big issue though, and, from what I understand, most adapters require you to attach a power supply anyway. For the less tech-savvy:You will need and HDMI cable (they usually run around $20)and most likely a power supply to use this adapter on your TV. Most new TVs have an HDMI input. The power supply is provided by your regular cell phone charger.

Doesn't work on my HTC one X
Can't really say much about it except it doesn't work. I emailed the seller and have not heard anything back. I have tried everything I could think of, turning on/off the tv, turning on/off phone. Tried loading different apps hoping to trigger a response. Nothing. I also tried it on my wife's galaxy s2, same result. Nothing. My phone does seem to respond somewhat, because it takes the home screen and puts it into landscape, but them switched back to portrait, then back and forth and so on. But the TV never shows anything except a blue screen...and yes I made sure I had selected the right input. If the seller doesn't respond soon I'll contact Amazon for a return.***Seller responded. Item was defective, seller refunded my purchase promptly.***Update 09/24/2012Purchased another and it sort of works...just barely. I have to slowly move the cord around finding the 'sweet spot' where it works. If I move at all the device stops working.

Does Not work/Yes it does
This does not work. In order for you to view videos and other contents on your phone you have to spend the $90 dollars for the HTC Media Link HD. This is a waste money. buyer beware...I take it all back. After reading the other reviews I found that all you have to do it give it power. Use your phones power cord. Plug into adapter and walla It works great, good product. Needs better instructions. But other than that I'm very happy with it.

Worked as promised
I love this product for my HTC One S. I was looking for this for my phone I went to the t-mobile store and they wanted 49.99 so when I found it on amazon for 1.15 I jumped on it with shipping and handling I paid 7.15. It does just what it says, I read some of the reveiew and they had a problem with having to use the phone plug to power the device. I don't have a problem with it the phone needs to be charged anyway so not a problem. Great product.

Works nicely with the HTC ONE
It requires external power before you get an image, but produces nice quality images.I view this as largely a toy- perhaps you might use it to show people your vacation photos. Many media providers block the use of an external monitor (like HBO GO, for example). So if you plan on using it for something like that, it won't work. For the price, it's not a bad idea to have one around.

They wanted 5 stars, I'll give them 3. Here's why.
Three Stars:1. It does work.2 & 3. excellent customer service. Here's where it lost two stars.1. Although it didn't work on my phone (Samsung Victory), or the S2 (My girlfriends) which it was suppose to. It ended up working on my sisters LG phone. If anyone wants to know which if you have one I will ask her and tell you guys. Although you need a decent HDMI cord for it to work. LG wasn't even mentioned in this for working conditions and this was made for Samsung devices. I seen the same exact one of these on Walmart site that says Samsung devices. Heck it even comes in a Samsung Galaxy Package with the phone on it with the S3 connector.2. Completely disorganized in description. It says its not for Samsung, but it comes in a package that features a Galaxy phone. Says its for HTC instead. Even though it completely works on a LG phone which isnt even mentioned. They told me its not for newer model phones, but every model they listed is newer than my phone. Which at the same time is in fact MHL enabled. So it wasn't a complete waste of money, I just gave it to my sister for an early birthday present. So in my conclusion, For Samsung users, I wouldn't buy, for LG users, might consider it.
