very chocolatey and a good flavor of mint.
Beside the fact that even a diabetic can possibly enjoy these, and they are a good energy bar without a sugar spike etc. They also taste quite yummy. the texture is somewhat like a cake brownie, and the mint is sort of mild like an Andes mint. Not real strong. The choco flavor is like a dark chocolate. I love the fact that it is supposed to help keep ones energy up and cravings down. Haven't eaten enough to vouch for this yet, but we went ahead and subscribed for this and the peanut flavor for the monthly shipments to gain the extra discount. Figured we couldn't go wrong.

What a treat!!
I am normally not over the moon about nutrition bars, but Solo GI has me there! I love all the flavours, but this one tops them all - it reminds me of the Girl Scout Thin Mint Cookies... I look forward to my preworkout snack more and more these days, it tastes so good it must be sinful!

Longer lasting nourishment
These bars seemed to "hold back hunger" and kept me satisfied for a longer period of time than others I've tried. The flavors are quite tasty.

Four Stars
Tasty.

okay
The texture and flavor of these bars don't go well together. The berry bliss and the chocolate charger are much much better.

tasty and filling
I've really enjoyed these bars, they are nice and minty and make me feel full for a long time. As a bonus they don't spike my blood sugar!

Great Taste but....
I used to go out of my way to a specific store 30 minutes from my home just to buy these! They were one of my favorites snake bars and being diabetic, I always had one in my purse just in case. So I was delighted to see that they were available on Amazon...until I read the ingredients. My biggest concern is Canola Oil.What's my issue? It is in nearly all salad dressings and most prepared, packaged foods so it must be okay right? That is why it is a problem in my opinion. It is used instead of healthier oils. It used to be called rapeseed oil but the word got out that it wasn't healthy, so since it is manufactured in Canada (which bans its use in food, btw), they took the first three letters in CANada and some marketing people decided Canola was niftier than Rapeseed. It is harvested using Hexane and when heated it breaks down and results in free radicals (not a good thing). Many people who have a stake in food production will diss health conscious folks try to paint as ignorant,or ill-informed or even as being extremists. Do your own search on the web and you will find many different opinions. To me, if the country where is manufactured won't allow its citizens eat the oil, I think they might have some information, I don't possess.Maybe it will be 30 years from now and the attorneys may bring the lawsuits like they did with aspartame (yet it is still being used). I don't want to join a class action suit because I have been damaged. Aspartame really messed me up and I had a dear friend who died very young from multiple cancers including the brain tumor (very common complaint), who loved soda with aspartame and drank it constantly. I am not saying this will happen. I am very selective in how I choose my foods. You don't hear bad things about Olive Oil but it is more expensive and that is why Canola is used instead. I am writing food manufacturers telling them why I stopped using their Canola containing products. Consumers can influence policy. As far as taste, it is a winner. Is it healthy? I don't know. I am no longer willing to take that chance.***I have been trolled on a view reviews where I expressed concern over ingredients. I will not be responding to "challenges" by these corporate trolls. Frankly, I have no respect for such people. This is my opinion based on research.***
