I have one Original JVC battery that doesn't hold a charge... It was a camcorder given to me as a GIFT, and they didn't supply me with good batteries, or a charger...I got these on Amazon, obviously...I am very pleased; so I bought two of these "off brand- as good as OEM" replacement batteries... They last a good long time, but do ebb a little power... yet, this is normal; this happens with almost all batteries no matter which manufacturer. The good part is that these last a very long time after fully charged...they are hefty heavy duty for long shoots... This camcorder I bought them for, is aimed at my neighbor's house... they own a few LOUD UNRULY dogs which destroy peace in this neighborhood. I had to have good batteries since I need to film EVERY TIME the dogs are disturbing us... AND LET THE NEIGHBOR SEE THAT I AM FILMING...so... In a sense, these batteries saved my life already... the dogs were driving me nuts! Anybody out there in need of dog barking video? I got 20 hours so far! ... but , anyway... having the camera visible and being near it, starting and stopping it, disconnecting the adaptor and relying on the camera batteries...this is the breakthrough I needed to get the neighbor to abide by our noise regulations in this town...the breakthrough was these batteries and a charger I found on Amazon... very good products, for less than a quarter the cost of used OEM that I found... and NEW!...these have ...saved my life several times already! As I said in another review, battery suppliers for Amazon are getting really good at this technology. I am trusting them more and more...this was just one of several great experiences replacing batteries through Amazon and these unknown, backed by Amazon suppliers... Very grateful... you cannot beat the price! And a VERY GOOD RELIABLE PRODUCT so far! I am a REAL buyer, not a bot...nobody is paying me for this review!
