DetraPel Shoe & Sneaker Protector - As Seen on Shark Tank

I was in high anticipation to purchase this because as a runner, I go through some low grassy terrain. I washed my running shoes so they were very clean and dry, and then applied the protector per the direction. After two runs totaling 4 hours, my shoes had a good amount of grass and grime stains on them. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Not worth the purchase.

Saw this as a local product in MA, and wanted to try out something to protect my new canvas sneakers. sprayed on easy, good coverage (has many applications per bottle!). Did 2 coats as instructed, waited 24 hrs to wear the shoes, and they repel water easily, so I hope they'll stay looking fresh! the background is white and no discoloration at all from the DetraPel! =)~I was not compensated for this review, I just like the product.

I bought the DetraPel shoe and sneaker protector for some new casual spring shoes I purchased. I like that it didn’t have any dangerous chemicals. I was skeptical of the efficacy before I could try it. Once I received the can, I tested it on some older canvas sneakers I had and the results were amazing. Water and coffee beaded right off. So I applied to the new shoes and everything looks great. Easy to use and a nice even spray. Very ingenious bottle.

Didn’t work- I’ll give it 2 stars since it could be user error (despite following instructions to a T and since it did go on sheer as promised.Will not buy again or recommend to others.

I have been using DetraPel for more than 6 months on all our shoes. It works just as advertised. Easy to apply and waiter just beads right off.

I used this on a vintage Gucci canvas purse to protect it from staining. Liquid completely repels off the material. It has performed incredibly well. On to my sneakers next!

Saw this on Shark Tank and bought a can for some new cloth shoes. I've managed not to get anything on them so we'll see how it works someday....Maybe.....I hope not.
