MINOR'S Clam Base and Stock, Great for Soups and Sauces, No Added MSG, Gluten-Free, 16 oz

As some have mentioned this clambase is loaded with salt because of this I used only half of the recommended serving at a time and taste tested then added more as needed just to ensure I didn't make the clam chowder to salty. I did not add any additional salt to the chowder.In the end the clambase definitely made a difference and enhanced the chowders flavor. I made much more clam chowder than I anticipated it was enough to feed 6 people and still have enough for my wife and I for next day lunch.I can only say that the chowder was excellent everyone raved about it and I have to give a lot of the credit to the clam base, it really enhance the flavor immensely I will definitely use it again.

Nothing to dislike.

Amazing product...elevates the flavor of any dish. The formula and consistency is very potent so use sparingly. I like to dilute a tsp with 1 cut of hot to boiling hot water if I need a little flavoring...and for a soups and stews a tsp directly in the broth...just remember if you cook out the liquid of your soup or stew the flavor will intensify making it taste "salty"

I live in The Netherlands and wanted a taste of home and make some good old fashioned clam chowder. My sister purchased the Minor's Clam base and sent it to me and I was so excited. The clam base is excellent and really compliments my chowder recipe. However there is one problem, it expires in November (three months from now). Looks to me that Minor's utilizes Amazon to "blow out" old inventory that restaurants will not buy. Shame on you Minor's.

I bought it not knowing quite what to expect, but I quickly discovered I could use this in making my white clam sauce, clam chowder or clam dip. This is definitely not for people on a low-sodium diet, but it is SO decadently good!

I used this to make red beans, and OMG they were amazing 🤩😍
