I purchased this product so I could use my Bluetooth earbuds while at the gym. I hate cords and so the Bluetooth feature was a key selling point. This product is very small, looks good, easy to use but the Bluetooth capability is horrible to say the least. It won't allow you to listen to playlists or select any specific artists. It will only allow you to shuffle all of your songs on the devices. That was disappointing but for the price I was willing to deal with that issue, however there is another even bigger issue. While using Bluetooth feature it would only play about 5 songs on repeat, if I tried another song it said there was a format issue. If I turned the Bluetooth off and selected the same song that had a "format error" with wired headphones it plays perfectly. I paid for Bluetooth and this device does not deliver. there are cheaper options if you want an MP3 player to use with wired headphones/earbuds don't waste your money on this one.

I bought this to use with audio books. The screen is small and it does not show the full title of the books (even when it scrolls, it cuts off the titles). I bought it less than a month ago and suddenly the manual bookmark saving feature is no longer saving my bookmarks. This is a MUST HAVE feature for audio books and podcasts. Very disappointing.I am returning this one for a replacement. Will update if the replacement has the same problem.Update - I received a replacement. After contacting the seller and following their instructions on how to 'fix' the bookmark problem, which didn't work, I requested a replacement from Amazon.So far, replacement is working fine.If machine isn't powered off, it will remember where you left off. There are 10 available bookmarks per file. Once you get used to it, it's not a bad little device. At first it's easy to accidentally skip to the next or previous file. The 'back' button also functions as the 'down' button depending on which screen you're on. This can get confusing and a little frustrating - especially if you didn't bookmark your spot and now you've lost your place.Easy to put library downloads on the device. Because of the small screen and the fact that the full name does not show up (the scrolling feature cuts off the full name of the book and parts), I just rename the parts with the part number first. This makes it easy to know where you are in the book.

I use mp3 players strictly for audiobooks so I don't have to wear down my phone battery. I was looking for a replacement for my sansa clip sport that I've had for years and finally died. This one was recommended online, so I gave it a shot...and I totally regret it. The sound quality and battery life are good, but there are times that I hit the "on" switch and nothing happens - I have to click it on/off a few times before it responds. That in itself is annoying, but the worst thing for me is that when I turn the unit on, it leaps backward in the audiobook and I have to skip forward to find where I stopped last. This happens every time. I also don't like the general design of the player - the buttons are not intuitive to the user and overall it feels very cheap compared to my old sansa clip. I've kept it too long to return it (probably should have tried it out sooner) so I will deal with it for a while but I am already planning on buying another sansa to replace it.UPDATE AFTER FIVE MONTHS OF USE: I still hate this thing. The whole setup still feels weird to me. I figured out how to turn it off without losing my place in the audiobook -- you have to hold down the play/pause button until it counts down from three, rather than hitting the off switch. (Umm...why do I need to turn it off this way instead of just using OFF?) And now, somehow, "shuffle" has been turned on, and I can't find where to turn it off. It is only a matter of time before I replace it -- and if I can't fix the shuffle issue, it will happen very soon.

This is a great little mp3 player, especially for the price. I had occasion to contact Customer Service via email because I could not get the Bluetooth earphones to work. Jessica responded a day later with accurate setup information and I quickly paired the player to the earphones. I only needed to disconnect the earphones from a cellphone it was paired with and then put the earphones in Paring Mode! Obvious I know, but I'm a Bluetooth novice. Listening to music over Bluetooth is a joy with this mp3 player and the MPOW Flame sport earphones. I easily copied a large folder of mp3s, that was arranged into many subfolders, to the player via the computer usb cable. The music can be accessed in the player by folder, artist, album, genre. It can be played straight or shuffled. And it all works in Bluetooth mode! I could not find any method of accessing music that did not work in Bluetooth mode. I was delighted by this because of comments to the contrary found in previous reviews. In short, a great mp3 player and great Customer Service to back it up!

I purchased the AGPTEK mp3 16mb 4.0 bluethooth player about two months ago. Loaded music onto the player and was able to categorize different types of music into sub folders. The player was working great. I like this player because it allows you to play your music from the folder view. This feature allows you to listen to a specific genre of music that you are in the mood to listen to. Some mp3 players will not perform this way. You have to listen to all the music that is loaded into one file regardless of the genre. I did have a problem develop with the player when I attempted to add more music to the player. When I disconnected the unit after loading additional music, the player was still on, but the screen was blank and would not function. I contacted the seller and received a quick response. They followed up by suggesting several solutions to reset the player and also download firmware update with no success. The seller has agreed to send a replacement player, which I have received and is working as advertised. I commend the seller for standing behind there product and keeping it's customer purchases satisfied. I recommend this product and seller and I have purchased a second unit to give as a gift. I thank Linking Port again for the replacement unit and prompt response.
