Great product
This is a great product for scrapbookers like myself who enjoy preserving trip mementos other than photos. For example, if you visit a city and pick up a street map, or if you save a brochure from the hotel you stayed at, you can use this spray to make them acid free. Then you can add them to your scrapbook pages without concern that they will make your entire page eventually turn yellow. I've been using for several years and have yet to see any yellowing on anything I've used it on.Tips for Use: The spray is easy to use, just like spray paint. Just make sure you find a ventilated area to use it, or take it outside to let the fumes dissipate. I suggest saving a giant piece of cardboard to use again and again under your documents. This will protect whatever floor or table surface you're spraying on, since this spray does leave a bit of a white residue.

This spray appears to work, but not sure the smell is worth the cost savings over Archival Mist!
Well, I purchased it knowing that there were some negative things published, like the terrible smell and that California considers it a cancer causing substance (but then California considers lots of things cancer causing)....But GOOD GOLLY the smell is HORRIBLE!! I got it to use instead of the really expensive Archival Mist, and I do use it, but won't be ordering it again!

Very good product, good price
Product arrived promptly. Very good way to de-acidify paper at a better price than other products. Shipped promptly. Not sure why these de-acidifying sprays are so expensive. I've used Wei-To de-acidifying spray but it was two to three times as expensive as this, but this seems to work well. Hard to tell if it's as good because you'd have to wait a decade or two to see if the paper yellowed, so I'm not sure about the quality over the long haul, but we'll see. It sprays on and dries quickly in my experience. I have not had any problems with wet pages. I generally prefer to spray the back of the page just in case it affects what I'm saving on the front of the page.

Noxious Chemical Odor And Causes Cancer
"Known by the State of California to Cause Cancer" is actually printed on the back of the can. With two to three quick sprays I knew I couldn't use this stuff. The smell, even in a ventilated area, is overbearing. This is the first archival product I've purchased so I might be a little harsh. I just couldn't stand this product. It made me feel nauseated using it.

Frostbite was not what I expected.
This product sounded a little safer than the product I used to use but it turned out that it wasn't. Both products had warnings on the cans that they need to be used in a well ventilated area but I never got injured using the other product. Following the instructions on the can, I sprayed about 10 very small newspaper clippings with Krylon Make It Acid-Free Spray when I suddenly realized that the tip of my finger had become numb and I stopped. It turns out that, in a surprisingly short time, just a few seconds, I had gotten frostbite. I could not feel the tip of my index finger for two weeks. The tip of my finger changed color, got hard, and eventually fell off.Only time will tell if Krylon MIA-F Spray will protect the newspaper clippings.

but make great embellishments on my pages
Use this to scrapbook regular paper. So many items I collect on vacations and trips are not acid free, but make great embellishments on my pages. Doesn't change the colors, easy to use, dries quickly. Love it!

Works.
I have used this product for years and have seen no degradation on the documents I used it on. The white chaulky powder is very light and brushes off with no trace. Buy a few cans as the cans are small. Recently I was able to coat two 24x30 docs, two 16x20 documents, six 8x10 with 2 cans. Pros: Seems to work. Cons: Cost. Minimal white powder.

Good product
Have been using this in scrapbooking. Making a scrapbook from news clippings and hopefully will keep the articles from deteriorating over time. No way of knowing if it works at this time. It is a bit pricey.
