Because it comes rolled up it's taking a while to lay flat. Since it hasn't rain since being place I cannot say if it keeps the mud out of the house.

I was looking to replace my existing doormat which was weathered and worn. Found this one on Amazon and decided to take a chance on it. It looks great and is very durable and does a nice job of cleaning the shoes of debris, not to mention being easy to clean.

The media could not be loaded.  Disliked nothing about its quality, except the strong odor. But I set it outdoors until the smell dissipated, before placing one in the house. I liked that it is the ideal size I was looking for,the under-scraping of shoes can be deeply felt when "feet are wiped," and it matched the price paid. Absorbency I can't attest to because the indoor one was placed on top of a slighter larger and softer area rug, which accumulates tiny leaves and outdoor debris. But with this mat is on top, I haven't noticed as much as before, if any. Grip in both areas is firm too.4/15/22 Update: the one that was placed outdoor withstood a few very fierce winds, without being blown away--one of which was of a "tornado watch".

I purchased for outside front door but just a little too small so I put it at the garage/kitchen door. The absorbency is not applicable for where I have it and it is in the garage but it seems it will be easy to clean by turning the hose on it and it does seem to be very durable. It also seems to be very good at getting any debris from the outside off my shoes. Hope this helps in some way.

This mat seems to always be wet. I'm considering poking a few holes in it to allow the rain to drain through better. It seems to never completely dry out which means the dogs have wet feet every time they come in the house.

Good quality door mat. Arrived rolled and slightly curled, but setting two cans of deck stain (just purchased from the big orange depot) on the mat overnight sorted it properly.
