Simple and satisfies needs.
The product is simple and of good quality, made in Japan. It would be wonderful if more products could be made in the USA. However I am pleased to buy products made in any first world nation that have respectable labor practices and industrial environmental protections.The product itself is 1000 ml as stated, and that translates into about 4 cups of coffee with room to pour some extra water in the get it up to even 5 cups, but not all at once! you need to pour some in, wait for it to drip through - then continue with pouring more. The product does need to be placed in the microwave afterward to warm the coffee after you are done because the water does cool down during the process. I keep it on a thin and flat cork trivet to protect the glass. The glass is somewhat delicate. I read reviews of the melitta pour through and someone rated this as superior after having tried both. I am glad I went with this item.

but it would have been nice if this came with V60
I didn't know that this does not come with V60 dripper. It came with three hole dripper. I can use my V60 dripper over the pot, so I am OK, but it would have been nice if this came with V60. It is easy to use, and easy to wash. You can put in microwave. Short but wide so we can make a lot of coffee with this.

Hario is the king of glass....and coffee
This is the best little coffee pot I've ever owned. Perfect size, easy to use and like all Hario products it's really well made. It uses 02 Hario coffee filters which you will need to purchase separately. I recommend buying the Hario grinder as well.

Misleading information.
The Hario Teco Dripper Set itself is good--it's 5 stars. The Amazon information, as well as some of the reviews, are misleading. The Teco's funnel was NOT designed to use Hario's cone-shaped filters. It has a solid bottom, with three holes, and it accepts the Melitta-type filters with the squared-off bottom. The writing on the actual box is in Japanese, but the instruction-pictures on the box clearly show a Melitta-type filter.
