It works on Canon G6020
1- my printer is ink tank g6020, nothing but problems with this printer primarily was on the internet then the black print head started acting up, start ghosting, long story short after cleaning with my home made cleaner it was ok for a while, not happy i ordered new print head from Canon, but out of stock this is telling me something also only 25 dollars, Amazon over 80 dollars, wait for Canon to tell me back in stock, 3day delivery free, printer starts working fine,so did not install new print head, a few days later Magenta does not print, cleaning not working at all but did with black problem, still ok, so I ordered this print head cleaning solution, not difficult to use just make sure you let solution set in print head for at least 1 hour, flushed most ink before letting set, after 1 hour flushed again used empty syringe to push out most cleaning solution, did a print check after reinstalling the black worked very first try (that's old print head), had to do flush for color, that uses 1/4 the ink in each tank (wow). So printer is back to normal so far i would buy this cleaner again but not the printer. Also no light in the led screen I don't think light diode cost that much, well maybe now with our new government it might?

Brought back a printer that I thought was a goner!
I have, or more accurately, my mom had a Brother printer that hasn't been used in years! I'd run the print test, and NOTHING came out! I used this cleaner, and I'd admit it didn't instantly clean it right away. This printer had dried, clogged print heads in it. After persistent cleaning, one color at a time started coming out. The worst was the black ink print head for me. I tried and tried, and nothing seemed to work! I was about to give up, until I decided to use the syringe to suck out all of the black ink, squirt it out in the garbage can, clean the syringe, and suck out the rest of the black ink. After I got all of the black ink out, I then use the same syringe to pump in the ink cleaner, then suck that all out. After installing the black ink cartridge, and several print head cleaning cycles, I finally got all of the print heads to all work at the same time! Make sure you have at least two cartridges of each color. You might end up emptying one of one or two colors like I did. You really can bring an ink jet printer back to life you don't want to get rid of it just yet!

Fantastic product and you tube video was easy to follow for my 3260 Cannon printer.
Worked!

WORKS GREAT!!
Easy to use, worked great, but I think my printer has issues and it's not an ink problem. Will keep for the future. Arrived quickly. Was a good value.

Unclear/missing Instructions
I cannot complain about the product itself, nor can I praise it. As you'll see, my issue is most likely a printer malfunction, so trying to unclog things was apparently never going to succeed. Thus a 3-star, middle of the road rating, however based on the next paragraph, I'd have given 4 stars at most if it had solved the problem. It seems some of the instructions are missing - Step 1 says to print a nozzle check pattern. Steps 2-4 have you insert blotting paper and position the carrier over the paper. And Step 5 is where it gets weird... it says "according to Step 1, insert the silicone tube into the ink inklet, of the color which needs to be cleaned...". But Step 1 says to do a nozzle check! Missing between Steps 4 and 5 are a) attach the tube to the syringe, b) fill the syringe, c) assemble the other pieces (L-connector(s), yellow and/or white fitting) as appropriate for your printer. I was able to figure out the missing steps with a little trial and effort (the video helped a little), but nothing in the instructions said what to do with all those pieces included in the kit.The remainder is about the experience I had, not the product, some of which may be useful to others...After all that, I ran the cleaning process twice. Both times, the blotting paper was saturated, so it seems liquid was getting through the print head. When finished I ran the printer's own head cleaning process, after which I got an error about the Cyan cartridge (genuine Epson!) being unrecognized. I tried removing and reinserting it several times, to no avail. Eventually I replaced it with a new Epson cartridge and all was well. Well, almost... when running the nozzle check pattern I still got a completely blank page, which is what started me down this road in the first place. I reran the printer's cleaning process a couple of times, and still get nothing but blank pages. Conclusion... the printer itself (perhaps the print head?) is faulty. So, one cleaning kit, several hours, and one ink cartridge later, I am right where I started. It seems to be time for a new printer. As a final piece of advice, something that I've not seen in any cleaning kit's instructions or discussions, if you care about the floor finish in the area where you're working, cover it with something before starting this process. The saturated blotting paper lost a drop of dark ink on my beige carpet. The cleaning solution only smeared it. So now I have something to always remind me of this experience. :-(Update 6/13/22: Not related to the product being reviewed, but recently a biodegradable cleaning product called Oil Eater was recommended to me. I tried it on the seven month old ink stain on my carpet and voila! The stain is gone and the carpet is still there! :-)

Useless for Brother Inkvestment Tank printer J5845.
Completely useless for a Brother J5845 Inkvestment Tank printer. The ink tubes where the cleaner fittings should go on have a tiny valve stem that needs to be pressed in. See picture. None of the included fittings will work.
