Spektrum AR6210 6-Channel DSMX Receiver

I used this on a quad copter project. I'm using it alongside an APM 2.5 from 3DRobotics, and it performs extremely well. I have flown it far over 600 feet away and have had no issues. I've gotten to the point where I can barely see my copter in the sky and it maintains reception. If you want a very well made receiver that is easy to use and extremely reliable, this is the one.

Not the orginal spektrum reciver.. the seller put his reciver under spektrum orginal reciver..but it's not .. cheap Chinese made

Great product and worked perfectly. Easley surpassed the minimum range test, and I found brownout recovery very fast at less than one second. Was packaged in the standard Spectrum packaging with all instructions and bind plug included (see pics). Works well in my 60" EF 540T and with my DX8 transmitter. I believe this is the real deal and not a knock off. Would buy again.

One of the other reviewers had said that the AR6210 does NOT have preset failsafe. However, there are many threads on the web that state otherwise, so I figured maybe the latest firmware gave the AR6210 preset failsafe capability. Even Horizon's web site hints at that sating that, "...Spektrum receivers used in complex aircraft requiring many channels offer the choice of a standard user-defined failsafe mode or SmartSafe." So what defines "many channels"? Maybe six... maybe not.For the AR6210, the answer is NOT. It does NOT have offer present failsafe mode. However, for the AR6260 - another six channel Spektrum receiver - six must be considered "many channels", because it only has preset failsafe - none of the silly SmartSafe nonsense. So, if you want your aircraft to shift ALL channels into a failsafe mode, then forget about the AR6210.Otherwise, it's a fine receiver with good signal discretion.

The product functioned as it should, no problems and my RC plane loves it!

do not buy these. They are supposed to come in a different container than this (not a big deal) though these are not as reliable as a real spektrum. I can get a more reliable and better receiver for at the same or cheaper price!

Has worked great. 3 stars because there is other brands that will give you more channels, more features, for less than half the cost. If you want to stick with spektrum, this is a great receiver.

this is a counterfit reciever. it worked for about 2 hrs. i didn't get my plane in the air because it gave my motor bad throttle input near full throttle. do not buy horizon hobby is the only place you should purchase this product.
