Wow metal cleaner
Our sink faucet has this industrial look to it and the big spring around the faucet had gotten a little corroded. I just wiped some of this on it w the cloth that came with it and it took it right off back to the natural stainless look. Excellent and impressive. I plan to use it in a bunch of other stuff too.

great product!
I used this on a pie rack that I kept out on the patio for years. It started to rust and I thought about priming and painting it but that sounded like alot of work so I thought I try this instead. Worked unbelievably well. The colors came back and the rust is gone!

Don't Start Your Project With This, Finish It With This
Disclosure: This was sent to me for free via the Vine program. I did not receive monetary compensation to write this review, just the product itself.Ahhh, Collinite. I honestly didn't know they were still in business, frankly. As a New Yorker that resides above the "city", I've heard of Collinite, especially since my dad was a gearhead who restored cars. As he managed to get his hands on products to easier restore the massive parts he had to refurbish, the jars, bottles, cans, and tubs of Collinite slowly disappeared from the shop as he picked up more abrasives and other machinery that could do what Collinite could on an...industrial production level. My dad certainly didn't have time to scrub the everloving tar out of every part and I don't blame him. But me? I do and I enjoy it. Polishing a tool that you've brought back from the brink of scrap fills my heart with great joy. So, when Collinite had their 850 Metal Wax and Towel combo on Vine, I nabbed it. Gotta rep my state, after all and I had some wrenches that needed some TLC.Container of 850 came simply in a box with a large plastic squeeze bottle of pinkish-brown polish and a blue microfiber towel wrapped around it, almost lovingly. I opened it up and took the seal off (which had kind of melted due to the petroleum products in the wax eroding that weird semi-styrofoam you get on some seals), gave it a good shake-a-roo, and applied it to the towel. I started with a primo example of a late 50s Craftsman socket wrench that had gone through the ringer and needed a touch up. Now, bear in mind, this tool had already been processed. I'm sure you could use this stuff to take a fully rusted tool to shiny new but, frankly, I don't want my arms to fall off. And I don't think they want you to do that either, considering this is a "Medium" wax. It's not a beginning wax, but it's not a finishing/"protecting" wax that you'd apply last. It's that sort of in-between buffing wax that'll scrub things up right so you can give 'em a good waxing to protect the surface later. I added a small dollop of the stuff to the towel and began giving it a once over. Slowly but surely, the stuck on rust bits and odd discolorations of decades of neglect wore off the tool, with each pass making it more and more like its old self again. Beautiful. I tried it on a few other tools and they all had the same experience. Be patient with this stuff; it's not meant to STRIP rust, it's meant to BUFF rust. I cannot stress that enough.Overall, would I recommend this? Yeah, actually, I would. Most workshops have a lot of those tools that haven't been taken care of so good and need a touch up here and there. This'll do it. Maybe you've got some stuff lying around that doesn't quite fit the sandblast/wire wheel treatment because the rust/pitting is too mild; this will handle it. This is a Medium wax, straight down the middle of what it can handle. And it's made in the US by a New York company so that's a bonus. Normally, I'd gripe at a $18.50 price tag but frankly, a bottle of this stuff will last you probably longer than the towel it came with. So get some lint free shop rags, set up your lightly abused tools for some scrubbin, and make a day of cleaning things up right. That's what I did and it felt so good.
