Regulating my CPU core temps
I used this unit plus three TECs to cool my CPU. The issue this solved was how to keep the CPU from getting below 9 degrees C. I solved it by opening the case and placing the sensor alongside the water block. The outlet feeds into the water line to the CPU. You adjust the high and low settings on it. The unit kicks in when it gets above or below the settings as the case maybe. Right now its 19 C at the CPU and 14 C at the sensor. I have some adjusting to do to bring things in line so the unit is not constantly on. Happy with what I am using it for. See, now the CPU is 15 C and the sensor is still 14 C. Also, the hoses need insulation as you will have puddles at the lowest point of the hose.

Didn't last a month
I loved the price point on this product, the fact that it heats and cools to keep the temperature you selected, and is able to keep more water than advertised at a reasonable temperature. HOWEVER, this thing didn't last a single month. A few days ago the machine would randomly restart causing a loud high pitched sound. Then this morning it won't turn on anymore, the light on the power switch on the back turns on but the fans don't spin and it isn't cooling anymore. It's simply unreasonable to expect someone to buy a new one every month or ever get a replacement every month. Especially when it's keeping an animal as finiky as an axolotl. SEEAN needs better quality control in their process. I'll be looking to return this and get a better product from a different manufacturer. Completely unacceptable that a product can't even last a full 30 days. Bought at the beginning of April on about April 3rd and completly died on May 1st.

Worked for 4 months. Nothing but headaches
I bought this chiller after reading reviews. I had to figure out how to set it up on mine. Got it working and it brought the temp of the tank right down. Now here’s where the headaches started, every time I needed to do a water change on my tank. The whole thing would malfunction and leak water all over my floor. I would fix it, and then it would be good to go until a water change. Well today was the final straw. I did a water change. It leaked everywhere. Cleaned up. Thought I had it up and running, went and took a shower and came back downstairs to half my tank emptied out onto my kitchen floor. It pulls water out but won’t push it back in. Needless to say is garbage now. 4 months of headaches not worth it, spend the extra money and get a reputable brand.

Good product bad directions
We were very hesitant to buy this after reading the bad reviews but didn't want to spend $400 on a chiller for out axolotyl. We are very happy that we decided to give it a try. The instructions are horrible but with a little troubleshooting you can figure out almost issue. A tip.mm if your pump isn't working check to make sure your unit didn't freeze up at the connections. We initially sent our temp too low. Other than that is keeping our excellent tank at 19゚ perfectly without having to use fans that create a lot of humidity in the air. This chiller works great so far.

Unit rattled loudly and then just died.
The unit rattled loudly in my kid's room for a few months and then just up and died last night. Power switch lights up but the rest of the unit is dead. Seems a waste of material with such poor quality control. Now I have to rush order from a better manufacturer to keep my kid's pet alive.

It works at least
For the price I was expecting more from this. Firstly, when I took it out of the box, I noticed that three screws were at the bottom of the bag. Further inspection revealed that the power supply was not mounted at all and was just sliding around inside the case. It seems the screws were not the correct size and could not thread into the PSU through the case. Not only this, but this loose psu caused a wire to fall out of place. Luckily I was able to plug it right back in.There were no assembly instructions at all. So I had to figure out what to plug in, and guess which pump valve would be used for inflow and outflow because those are not labeled either. But despite all of this, I have it up and running right now and it seems to be working to the best of my knowledge.Overall I was expecting better, but it works.

Works Well
I was using this for a 20 gallon long axolotyl tank. The need water around 62 degrees. The ambient temperature in my house is about 70 and this chiller had no trouble keeping it at 62. When I added a canister filter which increased the water temp by a few degrees and the house heat was on, it started to creep up to 65. I’m keeping the window cracked and it’s now holding at 62. I have since moved on to a chiller with a compressor, but keeping this to run a smaller tank for quarantine. As long as you don’t keep your house above 71 degrees and only have to chill about 15 gallons, this does a good job.
