Adhesive Temperature Strip

I am brewing kombucha in 3 gallon jars on kitchen counter. My house runs on the cool side, so I have a heat pad behind jars and a towel surrounding the jars to keep in the heat. The jars all run at a different temp so I rotate the order of them every couple of days.The heat strip has a backing that can be peeled away and stuck onto the jars, but, I put the jars in the dishwasher so I don't want to ruin the strips, so instead of sticking them to jars, I just use my fingers to place the strips against the jars when I unwrap the towel. The strips take about 10 seconds to register. I think they are wonderful.

I am a newbie at making Kombucha so I wanted to make sure I had what I needed to get things going in the right direction. I love this temp strip. I allows me to keep my brew at a constant temp without guessing or having to disturb my batch by sticking a temp prob in it. I also got a warming band to keep my jugs warm as my house is NEVER above 66 in the winter or 72 in the summer. With this temp strip I can adjust the warming band accordingly so that it remains a constant 80 degrees. The only downside is you cannot put the jar it is attached to in the dishwasher.

Needed to monitor items for refrigerator storage but strip stops at 46°F, 8°C.

It is an accurate temp strip for my kombucha brewing, it is accurate enough to help you keep the brewing process at the perfect temperature. The adhesive side sticks well to the jar even tho it has been washed many, many times and the adhesive does not wear out. It's a nice tool to use with your jars and brewing process.

Purchased this to stick on my kombucha crock to make sure the brewing temp was ideal and it works beautifully! Super easy to install and read. I use a temp controlled seed mat to maintain temp and they are very close.

Heading is misleading. I received one, not two adhesive temperature strips as the heading advertised. The search heading states two, however when I click on it to see product details it says one strip. You should be able to get two for this price. Buy from another seller.

Stuck to the gallon jar and stayed there even after washing. Keeps close enough temp for my Kombucha making. You can tell if the temp below or above is starting to glow you know thats an indication you are going to or from your target temp. Just like the kind you use on an aquarium.

These were not as described & pictured the temperature ranges from 46 to 82 degrees F / 8 to 28 degrees C. They said they went up to 90 degrees F! Looks like they just updated their picture and description, but one area of their description still says the wrong information (low range is 0 degrees) and it is really 8 degrees C.Also, these are meant to be permanent, so you cannot remove without ruining the strip.
