240 Watt LED Veg/Flower Grow Light

The g8 light is pretty compact. At first I thought I had received the wrong light and had to check the light dimensions with the info on the listing and saw that it is the correct light. But the light was super strong for such a compact light and my two plants did extraordinary we'll with this 240. I am pleasantly surprised and very happy with my light. I only grow for personal use so don't really need more then a couple plants but if I were to expand my grow, I would not think twice about getting another g8. Thank you

The 420guide told me about this light and I saw it action first hand. This is the first LED I bought after much research and it was totally worth it.Even though I was not growing on a large scale I did notice the drop in my electrical bill after two months. Heat is never going to be an issue again. During the coldest winter days here in Minnesota I actually wished the light gave off more heat ;)I started with seedlings and put the light about 6inches from the pots even though it says to keep it higher. Once they broke through the soil I raised the light up to 2feet and the seedlings started growing towards the g8 light almost immediately. It produced very healthy and bushy plants, much higher quality than I expected, especially since it was my first grow. This was a very good investment for me.

Great light seems very powerful for the wattage draw one of my plants loves it the other hates it. I'm not to sure what's going on. I have definitely noticed that my growth as increased alot. Also this light runs very very cool I've had to use a heater for my 3x2 tent so if heat is an issue this light is for you. Overall definitely well built and seems to be what I paid for 👍

Honestly for 2020 it's terribly outdated and overpriced. Half of the LEDs burned out on the second use.

I've had this LED for a couple years now and it performs very well. The fans keep everything running cool, though if you want silent operation this is not the product for you. My setup goes through a 12 hour on cycle daily for around 10 months out of the year. The plants grow well, and it has been 100% reliable. I've very happy with my investment, and think this LED represents great value.

Had it for about 3 months now works good no problems nice and bright but I do not believe they are equivalent to a 4 or 600 I have to and they might be close to a 600hps

My plants responded so well to this light it was a bit magical watching them grow in front of my eyes. I can see beautiful leaves with perfect structure and color forming under this light. It's amazing, I can see the growth every day. It is not completely heat free, I do feel some heat coming off the lights but it is a very manageable amount of heat. I guess a little heat is good,especially in the cold winter grows. In the summer I would prefer no heat at all.

LED's are not a joke, but claims of higher yields & 30,000 to 50,000 hrs of lighting is bogus in my experience.I've had several of these G-8 240 w because of replacements for my original 3 fixtures. In just 3 years time, I've had all 3 replaced and 1 twice... now yet a 5th failure in just a few months time means these fixtures have issues and do NOT last anywhere near projected hrs claimed. At barely 4000 hrs per year at MOST,... failure after failure which of course was blamed on high humidity and condensation issues by G-8 when last they sent replacements a few months ago along with a note stating I must be careful of humidity, condensation and this was the cause of failures - umm BS!I am an extreme allergy sufferer and live in COMPLETE control over my living space regarding humidity and temperature alike... My grow tents operate in the same space and are monitored 24/7.... never ever seen a drop of condensation on ANY of my electronics or lighting... and with 35+ years of grow experience - I don't mist my electronics by accident rest assured. Bottom line is - less than impressive yields and no longevity make these fixtures more expensive than running MH/HPS/CFL/T-8 in the long run,... so I'm not sold on LEDs after 3 yrs of usage and not super impressed.
