Easy to install and nearly invisible from a distance
Got this along with some hot pepper suet to keep raccoons from stealing my suet blocks. So far the combination of the two seems to have worked. I've since switched back to regular suet and the raccoons haven't started stealing it again. I've also seen the device in action, discouraging squirrels from climbing. Easy to install and nearly invisible from a distance.

Sorta, Sometimes Works
This little gadget seems to have potential, but I just now watched a squirrel jump up past it, grab the pole and climb to the top. It works if they try to come at it from the bottoms and climb up, but the little buggers can jump better than the NBA.

Don't Waste Your Money
I bought 3 of these last year. They worked okay last year, but this year the squirrels figured out how to get past them. I relocated them up and down the pole, without success. Spend you money on the better and cheaper "Torpedo" or "wrap around" styles. These work. The Droll Yankee Slinky does not.
