not what I expected, but works
I was looking for a hard to find PSU for our old Gateway Mini Tower 500 series computer to replace the 200w unit that died. Hard to find, as it is form factor mini-ATX, a rare size (5" w x 6.5" d x 3" h) and all that I could find was a refurbished unit which cost too much, or micro-ATX which is what this is (5" w x 4"d x 2.5" h). I also wanted to beef up the wattage over the original 200w PSU to extend the life of this 1999 computer. The item description for new and used reads "upgrade...Gateway 6500400" and the product number listed is for the fsp300-60ghs, but the used one I bought is fsp300-60gls. I won't return it for the wrong product number as the two are the same in dimensions. No, it won't fit in my computer, much smaller, but I can fit it to the case as I have learned a thing or two from my husband. It will be a bit of work, something I would not do if I bought it new.I plugged in the unit and it works fine, nice and quiet fan.
