Work well once installed
Make sure you have a second set of hands around to help you with the install. I struggled for a couple of hours by myself then it took 2 hours to complete the rest of the job once I had someone else there to keep the leaf pack lined up as I compressed it with claps to get the center pin through. Other than that they work really well and have brought my truck back to original ride height.

Great Product, needs directions and here they are :-)
These are an an inexpensive way to fix the rear end sag on a 1st gen 4Runner or Toyota Truck. The add-a-leafs were delivered quickly after I ordered them, no lines and no waiting. Plus they were 20$ cheaper than the local parts store. The only reason I wouldn't give these 5 stars is there wasnt any instructions. I mean nothing, they just assume you know what you're doing..lol.. Well here is my .02 cents.1) Jack the rear of the truck off the ground so that the suspension is at full drop, then secure 2 jack stands under the rear of the vehicle frame for safety (if you have a lift this wont be needed), then remove the rear wheels2) Use two C clamps to hold the spring pack together on the ends of the leafs (do not C Clamp the overload spring if you have it)3) Loosen the center bolt in the middle of the spring pack4) Using a jack support the axle before you remove the u bolts, then remove the u bolts, then remove the ebrake cable attached to drum.5) Lower the axle about 3 inches or so to give you room to work (be careful of your brake lines)6) Insert the add-a-leaf in between the spring pack and overload spring after you remove the center bolt7) Choose the right size diameter new center bolt and bolt the spring pack back together (you will need to cut the access off later after you tighten)8) Raise the axle back up and put them put the assembly back together (you will need to torque these to spec)9) Repeat on the process on the other side.

02 tacoma easy install
Tese come tow to a box, one leaf for right and left side of vehicle. I put these on my 02 toyota tacoma 4x4.you need to remove tires and jack up the rear end of vehicle, safety first. Disconnect E- brake cable from both sides. Remove u-bolts from one side and just loosen the u-bolts on the other side. The side you removed the u-bolts from you will need to use two C-clamps and tighten down to compress the leaf spring before you remove the center bolt nut. Lower this side of the axle, watch your brake fluid lines so you don't stretch them. Remove the center bolt. Release C=clamps. Grease the top ends of the add-a-leaf and place it in size decending order. Insert new center bolt. Compress leaf spring with C-clamps, if center bolt holes in leaf spring don't line up just move the axle forward or backwards as needed. The axle movement will shift the geometry of the leaf spring holes. Put nut on center bolt and tighten while using the C=clamps to compress the leaf spring. You don't want to use the center bolt to tighten the leaf spring pack. Torque to specs. Install u-bolts just enough to hold axle in place then do the other side as you did first side then tighten everything to specs. This added 2" to the rear of my truck. I used the Pro Comp leveling kit #65200 for the front, also a great, easy to install product.

Cheap and Awesome
This arrived really quick, with super saver shipping. And it totally satisfies my needs. They installed on my ranger fairly easily, and I havent bottomed my truck out since installing them, even with 600+lbs in the bed (alot for a '91 2.3l 2wd ranger).I liked how my truck handled with a stiffer rear end, and was really pleased with how much better it handled being overloaded. Now for the bad, it did provide about an inch of lift, but that is barely noticeable, and I don't know if I'd really feel comfortable with a larger tire in their. The other thing is that I suspect that one side is a little stiffer than the other (it sits funny on a totally level parking lot). So I probably wouldn't be too happy if lift was all I was after. Another concerning thing I noticed is how my leafs flex. It seems that they bend less evenly than they used to. Now they flex less in the beefy middle of the leaf, and more on the thinner ends. I wonder if anyone has broken a leaf because of this, although mine really haven't changed in the month of abuse it's seen. But hey, the price is right, and overall I feel that they are a vast improvement based on handling characteristics, which is what I was after. Thanks!

No more sagging rear end!!!!!
These add a leaf springs are very easy to install on a second generation Ram. It took about three hours with no one else helping and it was pretty easy to figure out. Make sure to spray penetrant like WD40 or PB Blaster on your u-bolt nuts and on the center bolt nut at the top center of the leaf springs. I suggest spraying them once or twice a day for at least a few days before the project. Anyways..... No saggy rear end now. I can see a big difference between before and after.

Lifted the 88 4Runner Nicely!
So glad I did this and finally was able to fix the rear end sag on my 1st gen 4Runner! Well worth the time and money. Just make sure to get longer U-bolts as the factory ones will not be long enough after install. Truck rides like new again.

Restored Original Ride height to both of our Explorers!
Already installed one Explorer spring set on rear, this is for the second Explorer! You KNOW I love this add a leaf spring to restore original ride height on our 1998 and 2001 Ford Explorers! Very thrifty, permanent, repairs/upgrades! Funny that it used to be recommended for Explorers, and now, two years later, is NOT???Bought the second one because the first one fit one of our Explorers great! Over 2 inches lift was recovered on the sagging rear springs! Great devices, has two sets of spring screws with nuts, and is giving us good service!I recommend these to all my friends! Install took us about 1.5 hours total... We did break one small cheap Chinese C Clamp... so, be careful out there, and use strong c clamps to hold springs!

Could not be more pleased
I purchased this leaf kit for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport. The leaf springs had become soft and flattened out. I was no longer able to remove my boat trailer from the back without assistance from my floor jack. To remove the tires, old springs and the then add the new leaf to the stack took several hours for the two sides but well worth it. I would say this is an intermediate level job for someone mechanically inclined. I say intermediate because there is an element of danger when you release the pressure from the stack, and a technique you must develop to mitigate the danger and for placement of you jacks/stands to lift and support. Fortunately there are a lot of helpful videos on YouTube. Not the Cherokee sits a little higher, looks great and pulls the boat like a champ. Great product.

Works perfect
Really couldn’t be happier. Corrected the sag in the rear ended due to flattened out leafs. Brought it up about 2 inches. Took maybe 20 minutes a side to install.
