Grizzly Industrial H5386 - Motor 2 HP Single-Phase 3450 RPM 110V/220V

I bought an old jointer with a 3 phase motor and used this as a single phase replacement. I was easy to install and change rotation. It is fairly quiet and seems powerful enough. When going from a 3 phase to singe phase I did up grade from a1.5 hp to 2 hp. I would buy again.

First of all, this motor is manufactured in Taiwan and for me personally, I have had much better experience with Taiwan products over China. I purchased this as an upgrade for my Craftsman 10" Table saw. The original was 1hp and this one, of course, is 2hp. In my application I had to drill extra holes to mount this but I knew this before I purchased it. The wiring is a little confusing since I'm not an electrician but it gives you the options of rotation and voltage (110/220) which makes a adaptable to many applications. So far, in my application, this motor was a perfect upgrade and I would buy it again!

Wrong motor

I got the wrong motor at first .Grizzly quickly got the right one to me and I was able to return the wrong motor. Surprisingly excellent service. Very pleased

Had to adjust the mounting plate to fit my Ridge contractors saw.Has good power runs smooth.

Ira put this to horsepower motor on my table saw oh, my table saw had a 1 horsepower motor and it was a Craftsman table saw. But I put two motor on and it runs fantastic, very please

Upgraded the motor on my Craftsman table saw. Wired it for 220v, works beautifully. Motor stays nice and cool, plenty of power.The reason I have 4 stars instead of 5:There is no manual for this motor. Not even a PDF on the Grizzly site for this model. That's my only complaint. It isn't a huge deal, there is a wiring diagram on the plate that covers the wire terminals.

Perfect 2hp replacement for my old craftsman table saw 3/4 hp motor. It breathed new life in the old trusted saw, rather than buying a new table saw, this is now better than new!
