VAST - Making Evening & Night Double CD Limited Edition #/529

John Crosby once again has put out another amazing album! I could not have expected this double album to have been so impressive. Love every song...

I’ve been a Vast fan since the beginning. Always ready for more music from them, I was excited to get this double cd set (yes, I prefer a disc). It’s interesting the way Jon Crosby let his fans choose which songs made it to the record. I think the fans chose wisely because the “Audience Selected” cd is fantastic. It sounds just like I’d expect from them. I really love the cd from start to finish. I can’t stop listening to it!However, I think they should have left “Audience Unselected” out. The second cd doesn’t sound like Vast to me and I won’t be listening to it much… just too weird. Great job on the first one, though.

VAST with a twist.

This is a great cd!! Very techno compared to older VAST music, but I love it!! The audience selected disc is the best but there are some good songs on the other disc as well. My chief complaint about the second disc is that some of the songs are too slow and don't seem to fit in with the overall album. Also I originally thought Jon Crosby had used some sort of voice changer on some of the songs on the second disc but I saw a comment on YouTube that indicated it was someone else doing the singing. That's odd to me and I can't find anything anywhere about who else is singing. There are no liner notes in the cd. No indications who did what, so that's a little strange. I love this album and I give it two thumbs up!!
