Solid device
This unit is the closest your going to get to a digital signal. The controls are precise and critical to tweak the system. I just wish it would be 4 way. Have a center mid and tweet that is not being eqd. I have a separate xoverThe for this. The time delay setup will give you a center channel which is what expensive kick panels will do. I have alittle hiss now but not an issue.

Color as advertised not delivered
I ordered the red and black just like the one on the picture to match the cars color. Unfortunately as soon as i opened the box, it was the blue and black. Haven't intalled it yet.

I have not installed this yet but great price. Balanced input capability was critical for me
I have not installed this yet but great price. Balanced input capability was critical for me. This unit provided that along with basic time alignment and extensive EQ capability. People complain that it's not really comparable to MS8 and others but it's also a fraction of the cost if you know where to look.

Nice piece
With all the equipment I have in my truck, this induced a ground loop even with the jumpers set as suggested.

To complicated
To complicated unless you have all this test equipment that I don't have. Local dealers want 100 bucks to tune it. So I pulled it out and I'm selling it on Ebay. waste of time and money for me. You might be ok.

Was good while it lasted.
I've had this in my 2011 Acura TL for the past 2-1/2 years and it has done the job. Although I have to say adjusting the EQ via the unit while in the trunk is cumbersome to say the least. I should have gotten the DM-608, which is fully programmable via PC. I had the DQ-61 before this unit and had issues with white noise, so I sent it back for repair, which was a very quick turnaround. I traded the DQ-61 for the DQDX because I only needed low-level inputs at that point. I'm sad to say as of this morning, the DQDX has been having issues. The audio coming out of the speakers has a "hall" effect to it and my left/right balance no longer works. Unfortunately, although Audio Control boasts a 5 year warranty on their products, they make things very difficult to actually get this warranty coverage. If you don't register your product within 15 days, you only get one year. If you install it yourself, you only get one year. I'm an electrical engineer and have been installing audio equipment since I was 14 years old, and know what I'm doing, moreso than many "professional" installers. So I'm out of luck with the DQDX and I'm forced to buy another processor from another company. I really like the Audio Control products, but I can't take another chance.
