G9 Halogen Bulb, 40 Watt – 6 Pack – Energy Saving - Dimmable - Soft White 2700K - 120V - Q40, CL, T4 JD Type, Clear Light Bulb

The Brite Innovations G9 Halogen lights are an excellent replacement for my far more expensive Sylvania Capsylite G9 bulbs. I am using these bulbs as a replacement on the hood for my stove. I have 4 bulbs in total to light my stove hood. One bulb burned out a month ago and I replaced it at a local hardware store for approximately $9.00 per for the one bulb. When my second bulb went out, I immediately went to Amazon. I found these bulbs and I was a bit leery of the quality for the low cost. I was also leery of the fit as some bulbs on other pictures are shown with slightly different metal prong shapes, and when reading reviews I found that some other replacement bulbs are longer lengths the originals causing them not to fit the desired spot. I ordered 10 of these bulbs due to the amazingly low price (pictured below are 8 of the 10 as I've opened one of the packs already). 10 of these cost less than 2 bulbs at the local hardware store. The fit is perfect, they were shipped quickly, and they were eligible for Amazon Prime. I would definitely purchase again. If buying, buy in bulk! I will update this post if the life expectancy or bulbs fail to perform as expected. Thank you for reading and rating!

Holy cow these are bright!!!! Unfortunately I did not read my fixtures watt requirements so I can't use these 20 bulbs, but we put them in just to test our new fixtures and these LED bulbs are crazy bright. If you want serious output these are GREAT! very white light, it is not a soft lighting, but they are dimmable which makes them even better. I will be ordering the same in 40 Watt. Great product, Fantastic price, super fast order processing and free shipping with prime... what more could you ask for? One thing to note DO NOT touch the bulbs with your bare hands it will decrease the life span of these bulbs and if you touch them when they are actually in the fixture they will burn out almost instantly and they get this weird discoloration. Use a light cloth when handling them and you are all set. Highly recommend.

I purchased these for a lamp that I have. 2 of the bulbs had been blown for a while so I had been using the lamp with just one bulb. Lamp is shining bright again, thanks to these new bulbs. A little pricey for just 2 bulbs compared to other brands but I prefer quality over quantity.Working well so far. No issues.

Good value compared to a hardware store

Came as advertised and on time.

I bought these for our oven and so far they have worked perfectly. FYI, it is a little tricky putting them in as the cover is hard to get off and put back on. Just takes a little perseverance

they came on time. packaged well and cost about 1/4 of what our local store sells them for. They don't blink as stated. are easy to install. Can't say how they'll last yet as I've only had for 2 weeks.

We have a cheap, imported space heater, that keeps one room reasonably comfortable. This bulb died too soon, but it's only to give an appearance of fire, which is purely decorative, and we like it, because the heat works just fine if the bulbs go out. The little instruction sheet gives a part number that Amazon carries. Take care, because the black interior of the heater makes keeping the tiny screws touchy ... and you need them. Would you buy another such heater? We did.
