Husqvarna 150BT 50CC 2 Cycle Gas Backpack Blower (Renewed)

First of all, this is a great brand name and a somewhat decent discount, so that is a plus right now. But right away, before even using the machine, I have a gripe with it. I know it might not matter to everyone, but there are some people who want the "renewed" items to look like they are new, just as the description states. Whether that be because you are crunched for cash, but want to get someone a gift, or other reasons. The leaf blower I received did NOT look like it was new or even like it had only been used once or twice. The bottom was scuffed up as if it was used for months already and dragged across asphalt. There are flaws throughout the main plastics (gouges, scratches, etc) and part of the gas tank was covered in dirt/grease, and there is an "S" written in sharpie right on the top of the orange plastics. It's not enough to return the product over, I am just disappointed that the description said it will run and LOOK like new, but this one obviously does not fit that description. Hopefully it at least runs like new, I'll be testing that as soon as some leaves start falling.

Mine arrived in excellent condition, working properly, looking like new. I've used it twice already with zero issues, running about 45mins/session.I wanted to address some of the concerns through my observations.1) Scuffs - The packaging on this item is not very good at all, and I believe it gets a little beat up during shipping. My gas filler cap had a scuff and that was it. I wouldn't be surprised if other people had more shipping damage.2) Shutting off after prolonged use - This thing really does suck through gas. After about an hour I was nearly out from a full tank. When it gets low on gas and starts sloshing around it may shut off. I suspect this is the cause of some other complaints.3) The choke - The description in the instructions is very confusing and you should just follow the diagram on the sticker. Set cruise control to 1/3 > Prime > Tab down (choke) > Start > Wait 5 seconds > Tab Up (choke off) > you're good to go.

This was a fantastic purchase the quality is great and the brand is rugged as I would expect a Husqvarna to be. The refurbished model showed no cosmetic were and tear all components including gas tank where clean as whistle. Gassed it up primed it and gave it two pulls and it turned right over. I couldn’t be more satisfied. The wind speed is definitely strong I’ve had no problems moving wet dead piles of leaves across my yard into a pile to be shredded. It is lightweight and very comfortable on the back. The padded straps and back make it even more comfortable I was able to where the blower for hours. Also very low vibration and super quiet for a leaf blower but this is what to be expected when buying a Husqvarna. This is even more the reason I decided to purchase a mid grade unit that’s good for light commercial work you can’t beat the price when you could buy some cheap blower from Home Depot that would only last a heavy Season or 2 before issues could Aries. Overall very satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

I don't know what was refurbished on this blower other than the pipes and elbow appear new. The air filter was dirty as received. The blower runs for about 40 minutes and cuts off. After a restart it will run about 5 to 10 minutes and cut off again. I am totally disappointed in the blower.

It runs for about 15 minutes then it shuts off. Then you restart it and it does the same thing. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Is there something wrong with this blower?

Plenty of power for moving piles of acorns in uncut grass. Easy to start. Pretty quiet. A husky at this price?? I made a good choice.

This blower is the bomb ! Blows wet leaves with ease, gets the landscaping rock, steps & walkways clean & makes short work of the long tedious task.Easy to start, starts after about three pulls & runs much quieter then I expected. Item appeared new

Engine performance is strong.and quiet. The last piece of the pipe did not lock easily it's like they sent a random piece with this unit as it's a different color than the rest. Price was right
