What is the difference between sbl and sbr?

I think the hex keys are the same. The difference appears to be the breaker bar handle. Either way, these hex keys are the best I’ve ever owned. I use them everyday as an industrial technician.

Are these made in china? thought it was made in japan but it says made in china in the description.

Well according to the packages I have purchased , all of mine say made in japan on the packaging. No mention of being made in china. I would think the seller maybe sharing wrong information or maybe selling a knock off.

I have found replacements available singly or in 5 packs. I did not see an 8mm in the SBL type. There are shorter ones or ones without the ball end but not the long ball end type.

so far a good set of wrenches

very tight in the carrying case. not likely to fall out of this thing for some time. solid construction doesn't strip like some cheaper sets causing damage to screws.

This is not a brand new set, packaging was opened before and redone using a tape, lots of scratches on the wrenches
