Q: Is there a parting tool in the set?

It’s NOT the sixth tool from the right, which is a small spindle gouge, but the sixth tool from the left side of the set image. Or sixth from the top, left. The diamond pointed tool is the parting tool, as well as other uses. It is not a thin kerf parting tool, as mentioned prior; however you can buy a thin kerf parting tool by Sorby. Search that exact phrase: “Sorby thin kerf parting tool.” It’ll pop right up here on Amazon; for about $40 or a little less. It’s a good addition to the 8-piece set. Hope that helps! Enjoy.
