Great Instruction, User friendly, and Absolutely worth every penny!
I am a recording studio owner, engineer and singer/songwriter. Bobby is a great instructor and his videos are just full of great technics and info. This book is basically a course that lays out the whole mixing process from room set up and monitor placement to the finished project in great detail. From signal flow, gain structure, effects and compression, to panning, depth, and presence you will find what you are looking for to improve and polish your mixes. I highly recommend this ebook and at this price it's an absolute steal. I purchased this ebook and was not compensated in any way for this review. It's a no brainer, you will not be disappointed.

Yay, no more trial and error!
This workbook is exactly what I needed to learn- the details, process and procedures to accomplish a good mix. I could usually understand the high level concepts, but I had trouble with the detailed checklist of what to do first, what plugins to use, what buttons to push and where to start with the settings.

Its a workbook
Its a workbook and the songs you're supposed to work on I couldn't find nor can I imagine how to get them into my DAW. Its an interesting read but its alot of hands on technical instruction that you use with a daw but again where are the songs to download? I guess you can use your own songs though. I really didn't like this book that much. I don't have the time to follow all the directions in it.

Legit
Bobby Owsinski is one of the best in the business and a tremendous resource for anyone in the audio world who is looking to further improve their craft. The workbook covers a lot of key areas and I also recommend checking out his other materials that cover mixing, mastering and all things audio.

Always helpful!
Bobby's explanations are always clear and to the point. I've read the mixing engineers handbook and looked at the sample pages of this book, and I'm really looking forward to going thru it in detail.

Extremamente útil para iniciantes. Passo a passo detalhado.

Another great book by Bobby Owsinski.
Well written. Particularly like the historical evolution of mixing from 50's onwards and the section on panning. Lot of practice exercises with audio tracks to download. Haven't had time to read everything yet but the content seems overall in line with the other courses provided by the author in terms of approach and technique. This is not a scientific book about audio engineering but rather a very practical and informative mixing bible. I can recommend that book without any hesitations.

It's going to be GOLD!
To start with, I have to say that I have not had a chance to read this yet as I just got it today. However, I am half way through Bobby's 'The Mixing Engineer's Handbook' and I'm learning so much. As Bobby mentions though, you learn mixing from doing rather than reading, so when I read mixing books I'm always concerned that I'll never get a chance to try all of the tips and retain the information. That's where this book comes in. It's an extension of the book, bhut in exercise form, so you get to practice all of the mixing techniques you need. I read through some, like 'timing reverbs', etc. It's all very clear and seems to be in a very clear start to finish logical order. I'm very excited about starting this book
