Can these be kiln fired?

I used them as shelfs for glass fusing. They didn't react to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit heat. I suspect you would have to heat them over 2000 degrees F. to melt them.

Can I apply alcohol ink?

Yes the tiles work great with alcohol ink

Can these be used with sublimation?

If you mean you want something to coat it, it should work fine. Whether it sticks that is another issue.

Can these be placed together to act as a trivet for an appliance such as an instant pot?

You would need some sort of outline border to keep them in place. Or, you could just set them next to each other but they could move. The cork on the bottom is nice and doesn’t slip, but could move.
