Not only did the product look like grape jelly, that’s exactly the consistency it has… but much firmer. No matter how much pressure I used with my finger, it never once broke the surface of the product in the container! Somehow thankfully there was a bit of lip product that I was able to remove from the incredibly firm “jell-o mold” surface and apply to my lips so that I was able to at least try SOMETHING… although that was disappointing as well, since it was EXACTLY like when you eat anything with jelly and accidentally leave traces of it on your lips — you don’t realize its there until other things are sticking to your mouth due to the tacky, sticky residue all over your mouth… especially in the corners of your mouth. This is precisely what wearing Florence was for me unfortunately.

One star off because it’s a bit expensive, but I think it’s worth it. I have chronically dry lips and I’ve tried everything, from Vaseline to the so-called holy grail of Laneige. This product *really* stays put. If you want to be fancy, you can dab a tiny bit of, well, Vaseline, on top. I’ve got a pot of Tatcha lip mask I’m using up, and they are special great together.

My favorite lip mask I have ever tried. So Hydrating. I love it.

It's very hard to get the product out of the container. After application, it does nothing to moisturize the lips. You would be better off with plain vaseline.
