Very good for carving or modeling. It's nice to be able to just spin my project and work my around to carve/paint.

It works. Its an inexpensive way to rotate clay pieces so you can minimize handling, you could spend a lot more money for the some thin, but hey, why pay more than you have to pay.

Wheel is wobbly and doesn't turn smoothly. There is nothing to balance it.
