This is a very well made product. Plenty of room for 4 of my guns, clips, etc. Really like the fact that it has a light that comes on inside when you open it so you can see what and where to grab. I did find that if I slam the door shut too hard, it will stick and not release open the next time. I would have to get the key and manually open it. But just close it gently till you hear it lock and you will be good to go. Programming is very easy and take seconds. Will hold up to 20 different finger prints, so my wife and I have 3 fingers each and my son has 2 fingers programed. It has holes in the bottom that will allow you to mount to a wall or a shelf. Foam padding in the bottom and a removable shelf. I'm thinking of buying a second one.

Not the most solid unit out there at only 10lbs. (I wouldnt step on it.) That said, it is a nice little safe for the price and accomplishes its job. Its by no means a security safe. Pretty sure the door could be pried open if you didnt care about damaging it. Its small enough to hide away though.The LED light is kinda novelty but better then nothing. For me the programming was easy and only took a couple mins. The key pad works nice and the biometric reader reads my fingers great.The beeps are pretty loud but I assume thats so you can hear if someones messing with it. Probably useful to parents. It can and I did silence mine with no issues.If I had a gripe, it would be door swings open violently with nothing to stop or slow it. And the barrel on the keys is like an 1.5" long even though it only inserts in the safe maybe a 1/4".Overall for the price its great.

This safe has turned out to be a great buy! I have been pleasantly surprised with the functionality. It is easy to setup and use and has very accurate fingerprint scanning (I've tried a lot of friends' fingers on this just to be sure). In the colder weather when my fingers were rough, the scanner had no problem correctly identifying my finger. That was by biggest concern, and this safe passed the test with flying colors!When you open the safe, the door swings open quickly, allowing you to reach in and grab whatever you need immediately. Some safes don't do this. Some pop the door open a bit, and then you fumble to get your finger in the space between the door and the safe. Not this safe - this safe is exactly what I want.All the buttons are crisp, so it appears that they will last a long time.The safe is of sturdy construction; I can't imagine anyone needing more than this. It's perfect for home or for an RV/camper/motorhome. I'm buying one for a father's day gift for an RV user now, which is what reminded me to leave this review!

The biggest thing is, these are not really heavy metal, so that cannot really be considered more than lock boxes, IMO. They are not heavy safes, but you cannot expect that for the money. But any time you can slow down a thief, or secure weapons from kids, the product has value. I have 2 with various valuables in 1, and my pistol in the other. Quick access with 4 digit code. I am satisfied with product, but would like to see a heavier gauge safe for a little more money.

Very pleased with this purchase. Upon unboxing I found the contstuction to be pretty solid and it fits very nicely on a shelf in my office. Setup to add my fingerprint and a new passcode was done easily per the instructions provided. I made note that some people found the beeping to be loud, but it was simple to disable so it really isn't a point of concern. Door springs open very quickly so watch your knuckles, but in a emergency it will swing right open which is great. I am not currently keeping a firearm in the safe, but the upper shelf more than hold a sub-compact or smaller handguns. I will likely keep magazines and ammo in that spot eventually. Lower area looks like it will hold a full size or maybe two compact but might be snug.

This gun-safe box is everything but safe. You are better off getting a $35 key mailbox from Home Depot than this safe. Yes it is built "sturdy" the Fingerprint function is appealing and the keypad looks nice. Put a safe should keep the stuff inside safe from someone else trying to take it. This has several problems, one is that the box received wasn't even working properly as some reviews have pointed out including in some videos, second is the locking system. The latch is made of weak alloy metal with just a tiny hook and weak springs that won't grab the latch of the door firmly, the gap of the door is wide enough to allow a flathead screwdriver to fit in. All you need is a small (even a pocket screwdriver) and in less than 1 second you pry it open effortlessly you don't need to apply force, even a child's strength can open the door and you can retrieve the inside content. In this case, will be a gun and if you try to prevent keep kids, teenagers, or bulgar thieves to get hold of your weapon, this safe won't do the job at all. It is harder to open a key mailbox than this safe and we all know how easy you can open a key-locked mailbox. The impressive part to me was that I can open it with a screwdriver and then unlatch the lock with the fingerprint and close the door again and it will work as if nothing happened. So like some experts say, the security lock is as good as its weakest point. I will not waste the $100 on this safe and get something stronger on the locking mechanism or if you like this style get a $40 version that will be as weak as this one but at least cost you less. I'm returning this immediately.
