It works fine during the day when the door of the crate is open, and our dog eats/drinks from it with no problem of spilling. However, we’ve been needing to crate her at night and she sometimes gets rowdy and spills her food and water. We bought these bowls thinking she couldn’t possibly spill them. The photo is the aftermath of her first night in the crate with these bowls. She managed to knock the food bowl loose entirely. The water dish didn’t spill at all, but kibble from the food dish did get into it.

I was more than pleased at the size. I thought they were smaller. - they are the perfect size for a small dog/puppy or cat.

I like the product, easy to install. The only problem is , my puppy(4months) pulls out the stainless bowl and spills the water & food. I ended up using the bowls without the stainless in in, then I only had minor chewing on the plastic

Easy to clean and very sturdy

This worked very well for a food dish for my 8 week old puppy. Not as much as a water dish. He manages to knock the inner metal dish out of the plastic holder and spill water everywhere. But this is a very convenient and easy to clean dish.

The white plastic looks damaged, but it works. Just doesn’t look new

Easy to pop and screw into crate... no need to remove once locked in as steel pans are removable. I take them to the kitchen fill with food/water and drop back into plastic bins. Easy!!!
