Decent
The book was much bigger than expected, which I like because most of these finger puppet books are tiny. The art is colorful and eye catching. The abridged version of the story doesn't make much sense though. But to be fair, I don't think that story can be condensed down to a toddler friendly board book and effectively tell the storyline like it was effectively done in the abridged versions of the other nursery collection Dr Seuss books.

It's okay
This is a really cute book and the puppet is of good quality. However it is very short, only three pages I think. Also it's a board book. I can't remember if that mentioned in the description. It's okay but it is annoying to read a book that's so short. You could read it in less then a minute but it'd recommended to read at least 15 a day to your baby. I'd rather read the Dr. Suess Beginner Books, at least they take several minutes to get through

Good Intro to Dr. Seuss
This is an adorable book and a great toddler introduction to Dr. Seuss. My office participates in a Festival of Trees and for 2 years we have created a story book tree. This year, the theme was Dr. Seuss. I liked that it came with the toy included, as we usually purchase a toy to go along with the theme.

Cute book
This is a cute little book. Horton is a puppet, you can flap the ears, move the mouth, and twirl the trunk. It doesn't have many words, which is perfect for reading it to toddler over and over. I gave this to my nephew and him and his cousin fought over it for a while. It's a pretty fun little book.

Cute, but don't expect too much
This book is cute, my baby loves the Horton puppet, but it is very difficult to operate. The book is very short with just a few words on each page and doesn't have the catchy rhythm expected from Dr. Seuss. We read it to our 5 month old a few times, but it has already been placed on the shelf because it is so dull. I'd recommend Wet Pet Dry Pet (touch and feel) over this book.

Horton Hears a Who! Can You?
Great little book for infants. In good Dr. Seuss style, it has short phrases that rhyme and fun and colorful illustrations. The hand-puppet Horton is cute but is a bit difficult to maneuver as you are trying to read the book (the opening is barely large enough). But the baby loves it!

Horton is cute, but makes this book difficult to use
I'll admit, this book is pretty adorable and does get my small daughter's attention. However, Horton's stuffed body makes it a real challenge to turn pages and close the book. Horton is actually a puppet - with small holes in the back to make his trunk move - but honestly, he doesn't move much! I like the book, but wish it was executed just a bit better.

Our hope was this would be loved similarly, but it just isn't
Our daughter (18 months) loves the pop up version of Horton Hears a Who - but doesn't have the patience to sit through reading the whole story. Our hope was this would be loved similarly, but it just isn't. There really is no story listed with it. She does love the softness of the Horton plush.

so it's over pretty quickly, and unless you already know the full ...
My son LOVES the Horton puppet, and loves the page when the Whos shout, "We are here! We are here!" But the "story" - if you can call it that - is 4 pages with about one sentence per page, so it's over pretty quickly, and unless you already know the full story, you wouldn't understand it at all. It's cute and my baby likes it, but a longer, fuller story would've been nice.

Needs a bit of work
Although this is a 'board book' of sorts, it seems a little flimsy. You definitely need to have read Horton Hears a Who in order to understand this book - there's no actual story within it (which resulted in needing to buy an additional book to accompany this as a gift). Horton takes some mastering with getting your fingers to flap his ears/wiggle his trunk, but doable for the nimble fingered storyteller! If you know the story and have good coordination, Horton will delight!

Brit_Books_Xpress provided a very dirty product
The condition of the book I received was not as advertised, it was in very poor condition (it was very dirty - I lysoled the individual pages and resolved Horton). Brit_Books_Xpress did not provide a good quality product.
