Zero Star. Better buy Henna powder instead of buying this for AED 50. Its expensive than the known brands. i bought this product because it was herbal & had no side affects. But the product does not serve the real purpose. The product leaflet mentioned that it has to be applied 3 times with a gap of 24 hours b/w each application for better results. even after 3 applications my grey hairs have not turned dark brown. Going by the product leaflet, If you wish to have you hair colored start it 3 days prior. I do not recommend this product. i didn't understand why did they launch such a product.

Good chemical free hair dye, leaves the hair soft...does not cover the greys fully in single application but its acceptable considering its no harmful chemicals.

**update** I've continued to use Indus Valley, experimenting a little along the way because I don't want to use chemicals on my hair AND I don't want to spend tons of money. I applied 3x in a week long period, leaving the product on my hair for 1hr each time. This helped cover more gray and lock in the color for much longer.Pros- No chemicals- Color is a good match- Doesn't stain my skin or my bathroom surfaces.Cons-Time consuming- 30 min application, 1hr dry time for thin, just below the shoulder hair.-messy-my head smells like dirt and chamomile even after a couple washes - I now wash with Dr Bronner's Peppermint which helps reduce the smell quite a bit.-Doesn't completely cover grays. I'm ~10-15% and I can still see gray, but I don't mind so much anymore because I am indeed aging and once the chemically dyed portion of my hair grows out I'm going to own my natural hair color.- applying the product 3x in the period of 1 week makes the color last ~1 month. I'm hoping I can then just do a 1x a month refresh from now on.

As a registered nurse I am very careful about never putting harsh chemicals on my hair. I am 60 years old and have not colored my hair until a couple of months ago with henna. Whatever you put on your skin/scalp you absorb those chemicals into your body. Really liked the fact that Indus Valley 100% Botanical100% Organic. Bought the dark brown. Mixed the powder with hot bottled water that I boiled on the stove and mixed to a thick paste and when cooled and safe to touch applied paste to my hair. Left on longer...time as recommended for plain henna. Washed it out with cold water (first time with hose pipe!) Will shampoo in couple days before work. The results were awesome for me. Most of my gray hair is in the front. Previous henna turned my gray hair a reddish color. After putting Indus Valley all over...my "reddish henna hair" in the front has a more brown tone. The back of my hair is a medium dark brown. Not even shampooing my hair is soft and very shiney. I love how Indus Valley made the texture of my hair. I am not receiving any payment for this review. Just wanted to share because I highly suggest use of a natural hair color product instead of harsh unhealthy chemical hair dyes. One's health is the most important gift they have!
