Great Meal Alternative
I ordered this when I needed a meal replacement. It kept me really full throughout the day and I felt like I was getting my nutrition in. The taste is a bit chalky, but you don't really notice it after a few sips. I would highly recommend if anyone is looking for a vegan protein shake!

Great source of protein
My husband and I have been having one of these a day for over a year now. I'm a vegetarian, and he rarely eats meat, so we were on the hunt for a surefire source of protein. We had tasted soylent before and liked it, but we stopped getting it due to the sugar content. When we stumbled upon this, we were thrilled for a low-sugar, high protein option.A lot of comments says the taste isn't as good and the thickness is weird... maybe I would have agreed when we first started taking it, but I adore it now. I don't want an overloaded sugary flavor. And the thickness is manageable if you shake it enough before drinking. It thickens when it sits.I think the cost is a fair concern and I would prefer it be a little more manageable. But we've been dealing with. If it goes up, we may re-evaluate.

Only brand I can drink
After I had WLS, I couldn't drink the protein shakes I've always bought in the past. For the first few months post-op, I really struggled with my protein intake because I wasn't able to keep down any of the protein drinks/shakes/powders I tried. Finally, a coworker that knew about my struggle finding a new protein drink, brought me a Soylent Complete Protein Shake to try. That was toward the end of 2023, and this is still the only protein shake-type drink I'm able to drink. I've only tried the chocolate ones and they taste great! The next time I need these, I'm going to try the vanilla flavor. I don't get any weird aftertaste/chalkiness, I don't get an upset stomach after drinking these like I did before with other brands. The shakes are sealed with an aluminum pull tab, and the plastic on the outside bottles have perforated part on the lid to open. I do wish that I was able to find these at local stores, but I don't mind ordering them from Amazon.

Best Lunch Shake
Still my favorite lunch shake I've been buying for nearly 8 years. Best flavor, good mix of nutrients and filling. Never had any issues with clumping. Once in a while my subscribe and save shipment is delayed but that's my only complaint.

Mix it with water!
I need meal replacement drinks to help meet nutrient needs, but I am lactose intolerant and on Dr rx low fiber diet, and as far as I can choose, I prefer vegan products. This product is a godsend. But it was very difficult to drink these straight. The texture was disgusting and the flavour was not quite right. Then I learned from some redditors that watering it down, 1:3 made it more palatable. I was dubious but I tried it and it works 100%. Just like drinking chocolate milk, texture and flavour.Once watered down, the flavour is very delicate: a whisper of chocolate yet not so tasty as to make your brain want more than one portion. Satisfying without any cravings.

Great nutrition, objectionable flavor
I drink/buy many different protein/MR ready-to-drink products, most days 2 shakes are breakfast and lunch. I've been happy with 100% plant-based, eco-responsible options before. For me this is a 3*, but this is subjective and I want to explain:- this product outshines the market in calories per serving (with higher calories = better), macronutrient content (though I could use a little more lipids), vita/mineral content, etc. Commendable- same with sourcing. plant based, organic, etc etc. For 70% of us in the US market, it matters to at least some extent. And increasingly amongst the population when we consider the health benefits of (sometimes coincidentally) ethically sourced and plant based products- negative is the TASTE. I understand it's not fairlife chocolate milk - this is a MR shake, not an indulgence. But immediately my brain registered "Wieder-brand supplements from the late 80s to early 90s". strangeness to flavor and texture I simply can't describe to say, yes, chalky for sure. but that is super reductive because there are nuances to the very drinking of this which make the event vaguely and mildly uncomfortable/unenjoyableproduct content: top notchproduct enjoyment/flavor: not terrible, but not something I will rush to re-experience

These are my favorite
I feel like my title might need some context- I have tried just about every dairy/gluten free meal replacement or protein shake product there is to try. This surpasses all of them!( Now you can’t drink this and compare it to “regular” drinks on the market. )For someone who can’t hardly have any protein drinks or meal replacement shakes because of my allergies.. I am so grateful I found these years ago. And I still buy them to this day lol. The taste is not chalky like most others, it’s thick also, almost like drinking… chocolate milk, kinda. The protein level is higher than most other soy products. I haven’t much looked at ingredients or sugar content, tbh. But, Overall, it’s worth every penny.

Disgusting! Used to be my favorite drink :(
They ruined Soylent.I've been drinking Soylent almost daily since February 2017. I've loved all of their flavors and have enjoyed chocolate the most. This is HORRIBLE.Soylent was always my filler meal for when I just needed calories to be able to function. I'd drink a bottle and feel like I could keep on going and I enjoyed drinking it. This makes me feel sick. Not only is the taste bad, but the way it sits in your stomach is awful. I feel nauseous.I will no longer be buying Soylent, despite having bought almost TWO HUNDRED 12 packs over the last decade. I won't even be finishing this 12-pack. It's worse than any protein drink I've ever had. They successfully went from my favorite and most reliable source of calories to NEVER being bought by me again. I hope they reconsider this change to protein only. It felt more balanced before.
